That one was started June 12.It has about A week maybe 2 left.I like A strong head buzz,so Im letting her go longer. All I have access to is bag seed. This plant had really thin leaves. And its only about 12 inches tall.To get half white and half amber hairs it took 3 months, almost to the day.
this is exactly what im talking about, certain strains tend to just flower and make a bonsai plant from what I gather, and others will grow a foot to two feet before flowering...Quote:

If you need just a handful of seeds, 12/12 with a known strain to bonsai
Soooooo. Rev you are right about the plant size..I ended up with 5 beauties, all starting to flower at 12-14 inches with 6-7 nodes. 38 days old today...Will feed 1/2 strength tiger bloom this next watering.
Important to note you did 24/0 for a week first
Maybe thats the key to this 1-2 ft plants
might be good for SoG
with little 'poles' you can fit more plants into smaller areas
harvesting becomes easier as you only have one big cola to deal with no tiny popcorn nugs of inferior quality
Hey rev, I completely agree with you.. I would suggest planting double of what you plan on harvesting if from seed. I wonder how big they will end up?
Would like to also note that I started with 16 seeds and ended up with only 6 females:wtf:
Happy to say that I do have a mother started that is about twice the size of all of them (started at the same time).
hopefully the 12/12 isn't causing them to turn male?Quote:

a hydro the plants are a beauty!!! I will post pics in a hour or so..getting ready to feed my munchies now.
So here ya go!! Four days older. Growing fast smallest one is 16 inches tallest one is 18...I think I may transplant soon still contemplating it though.
a couple more... How do they look?
daaaaaammmmmmmmmm. so they been in flower for how long now?
flowering with a 400 watter very nice indeed.:D
I wish U much good luck on getting a good yield.:D
over and out.
Hey thanks for the kind words Dro...They are 2 weeks since signs of flower. Time to fert today with 2nd shot of fox farm tiger bloom 1 tsp, grow big 1/2 tsp, and one tablespoon of molasses.
I accidently left my light on 4 extra hours last night by fogetting to turn my timer back on. The difference in flower size is amazing from last night. I still wont let it happen again though!
They look very healthy, and will need larger pots very very soon (unless the rootbound symptoms are from before you put them in the bags).
Hello stinky thankyou for the compliment, and you just put the icing on the cake for me by telling me to transplant, I have been contemplating on it for the last 3 days...Guess I have something to do in the garden to night.
now I got to figure out how to get them out of the bags undisturbed...Thinking about just cutting them down the side like I usually do but I am feeling cheap right now and want to keep my bags. Oh well we will see how I feel when I do it.
Here are a few random shots...
finally got a MOM!!! Its been about 90 days total already of playing in the dirt. The others are pictures of the root on my clone placed straight into a water bottle filled with water. 11 days to show roots.
and here are the ladies after a transplant..Coming up on the end of week 2 of flower. Took a little over a month to show...Started under 24/0 for one week from seed. We can start directly under 12/12 but I think one week of 24/0 is the difference between 5 grams per plant or 14-28 grams per plant. We will see though...
During the transplant I added 2 tablespoons of high phosphourous guano and also 2 tablespoons organic mirconutes 3-3-3 by fox farm into the bottom gallon of the pot and mixed thouroughly...I didnt add any grow big or tiger bloom, instead I will wait and see how they adjust to the organic ferts.
Beautiful dark leaves bro!
THey look happy man
thanks!!!Quote:

Hello AN, thanks for tuning in! I questioned it to at the beggining but I figure I used to start my seeds outside on Aug. 1 and got a decent size plant so it had to be worth a shot inside. I must say I think it totally depends on the genetics. Most 50/50 mixes perform well this way, but other indica dominants may not. Sativa's probably take a while to flower as well because they are used to 12/12 climatic conditions.....Quote:

It looks like its time for another transplant already I think...Only about 10 days?
Lets try this again...
I think they're looking great. Doesn't look like they need transplanting to me...
I'd just let 'em finish in what they're in.
Great job!
looks awesome! can't wait to begin my 24/0 for a week grow
It's worth checking the condition of the root ball. They may be ready. It's obvious that they are healthy and vigorous, which also means those root systems may surprise you.
Finally, you should be eliminating N from their diets entirely at this point. While beautiful green glossy leaves LOOK great, towards the end of flower, you want to see the low leaves- at least- starting to go yellow, meaning the plant is breaking down chlorophyll to scavenge Nitrogen, and your harvested product will taste MUCH better.
Very nice work.
wow wow. they look badass. cant to see them finish buds.
indeed better than most predicted
hmm i find this topic very interesting.....i think im going to try to do a microgrow starting with 24 hour light the first 1-2 weeks depending on growth speed. ATM i have a rubbermaid box with 4 18 watt clfs which makes a total of 72 watts . i guess ill just use 16 oz cups to start em and move them to bigger pots if needed. I only have bag seeds but if the first grow is successful i might be making some orders off the internet ;). Whats all of your opinions of the grow? Expect a grow log soon after i germ the seeds :hippy:.
check my sig, going to do my experiment as well
Awsome grow Forwhat420, im for sure going to skip my hydro and try this out.
couple questions though i picked up some advanced nutes 12/12 from seed grow really would fit in perfect to my space, the nutes i have are sensibloom A nd B, Voodoojuice, and big bud powder. would these nutes be suitable for this kind of grow? thx for any advice.
yea im curious as to what your feeding schedule was? did you just use fruiting-bloom type of nutrients? or did you use some vegging nutrients as well?
can you give us what schedule and brand?(and npk)
Heres the link for the feed schedule
Advanced Nutrients - Nutrient Calculator
from their theres a button you can click that says Nutrient Base, the once i use is High Yield.
man i cant wait to see some udated pics of forwhat420s plants!
