Seedsman Feminized White Widow + AK47 lowryders feminized LOG

Hi.

To start with the smell.
A charcoal filter is not a big investment ant it filters 100% of the smell as far as I can tell here.

I dont ventilate straight to the outside either and I live in an appartment in a major city. My ventillation goes into the tent close to the floor passivelly then throgh the filter hanging at the roof of the tent---cooltube with 600W HPS in it---fan---out the top of the tent. Close to the roof of the room the tent is in there is a ventillation in my appartment that takes the air 4 stories up to the roof but I don't force feed this vent as I would create an overpressure in the duct then that might press air into other peoples apartments if my house's vent stops working for some reason.
This setup works flawlessly and is totally smell free.

About the lights it depends a bit. If u have white walls or even mylar walls I'd go with the 600W as one light is easier to handle than many and even though light has to be further away from plants it still produces a LOT of light.
But ye, I dont know what kind of area you are trying to light up etc so in the end you have to come up with a solution that fits your needs.
If you are using a cooltube you dont have to keep the light that far from the plants anyway even with a 600W hps.

Lighting:
250W Cooltube CFL for vegging on 18:6
600W Cooltube HPS for flower 12:12

Medium:
2/3 high quality rosesoil
1/3 vulcan stones (reasons is air + they have ferts for 2-3 weeks)

Ferts:
Week 1-3 nothing but water and whatever is in soilmix
Week 3-7 Biobizz Biogrow every 6 days
Week 5-7 Biobizz Biogrow + Biobloom every 6 days
Week 7-9 Biobizz Biobloom every 3-4 days
Week 10 = harvest

Seeds:
5x Seedsman White Widow Fem
10x Joint Doctor AK47xLR2 Fem
10x Zenseeds BubbleBerry

So to pick up, we took a sample from the little flowerlady today and she will be harvested next weekend.
The little sprout which survived is looking sweet and is letting leafs, im trying to figure out why some of them is setting leafs very closely and is not chasing the "sun" though but that we're looking into.

We have 2 pot plants we need to flower to determine sex and hopefully it will go good from there on so we're taking it down have only 1 set going from as soon as we have determined sex on the 2 potplants.

I completely forgot to mention that we plan to water the plants with what they seem to be able to take every day and then flush them bi-weekly to avoid lockage and overferting.

Please if you have useful comments feel free to drop them in, and im still looking for a better solution then having to rely on my photographer...

danish, there's nothing wrong with your photos, my friend. Keep posting them! I'm still impressed by the shape of your plants - aesthetically amazing. Sounds like you have your setup all worked out. Have you decided on the 600W hps instead of the 3 125Ws? I would say it really depends on the coverage you get from the 600W - can you use anything to disperse the light from the 600W to give you better coverage?

As for your autoflowers, I would agree with what Mr.GoodMorning02 said above. My MIQ was an autoflowerer, and she thrived well outside with basically 16 hours of good sunlight - my guess is she would have taken more.

OK to explain it i guess the easiest way to say it is that if you produce 1000lumen pr. 1cm of the bulb you will only produce 250lumen at 10cm from the lamp.
Thats why im considering 2x125 + 3x125 + it will lower the general costs quite a bit in the long run.
For the time schedule well some say this some say that, im looking to forward to harvesting around 30-40g dry bud from my lowryder so think what you want im pretty sure this is working just fine.

As for what i have now, 2xCooltubes with E40 sockets, 1x250W CFL 6500K with ballast in it, 1x600W HPS with ext. ballast, 2x35cm ozon tubes with fittings (not installed yet)
This we are strongly considering changing into the other setup also with cooltubes on every lamp.

I have no idea why the plants looks so symmetrical actually but you sure made me laugh with the dolphin commment... i think ill grow some hyacintbush or something and try that out just for you :P

Anyhows i should be home with 4-5 hours then i will take a look at the ladies and let you guys know how they look.

PS: jazeking cant you gime like a tutorial in writing so i can describe my plants like you do yours ... or should i just take snaps with my iPhone and then let you comment ?

All the ladies are looking healthy so thats good
My little baby keep amazing me, she is now about 30cm tall and still 100% symtrical even after being topped twiced :D she is popping out her leafs in exactly 90 degrees from the main stem and then the 4 tops is just starting preflower now :D

Anyways i need to get to work so ill drop in tonight perhaps with some low quality pictures of the ladies...

It looks like all our sprouts is gonna survive that i like :D

We're almost ready to harvest the little one and considering to harvest the 2 large pot plants as well.

The small ones is starting to stretch out now so their actually starting to look good.

On saturday when we harvest its also time to start ferting the little critters.

As for pictures i am still trying to find a solution as all i have for the time being is a lowsy iphone camera :( let me know if you still want pictures of em from my iphone then ill take some and put them up.

Ok so i have not posted the pictures i promised but work has been crazy if you guys know i hope you'll understand.

Tomorrow when we harvest and re-arrange i will take some pictures and upload, also of the harvest and wet weight and then ill check in with dry weight and stuff later on while the real growlog is going.

So far all i can say is that im happy as hell because we have 14 small ones going from 15 sprouted seeds. The 15th died because of an accident where sproutbox fell down and crushed one :( but i hope we manage.

Ok so we looked at the plant today and decided to give her a gooooood watering and then let her get today + tomorrow in give her 3 days of dark and then boil her root and dry her...

The little ones is doing good ill take some pictures during the next couple hours please dont bother commenting quality as i only have a 2mp without autofocus avaiable ...

The little beauty is going into a 12L later today as well as she is starting to look rootbound...

The broken twig dried up and was nice smoke but a more uplifting high than anticipated. She tastes like Mocca which is a bit funny but rather nice and make her smoke go down easy.

The little ones were started on ferts yesterday with 2ML Biobizz Biogrow to 2L water and then they get a little water every day and fertz every 3 days from now so small ones on schedular...

So we have done the harvest, the lowryder was cut down and trimmed and hung for dry in a closet, the pot plants were cut and had twig dipped in boiling water and is hanging for dry as well.

So for the re-incarnation of growroom its looking good except for 1 little sprout which died :(

Pictures will come today i just need to grab them from the camera today after getting a joint and started on my laundry...

So projections on harvest is between 20-40g from the lowryder and a shitload from the 2 pot plants.

The lowryder i have harvest pictures coming of the entire harvest and for the pot plants ill simply post pictures of the plants hanging to dry.

I will grab some pictures of the rest of the growroom while im taking pictures of the drying plants.

So to end this long as hell post and cut my self down in words, we started ferting the small ones the other day which accelerated thing quite a bit now, all the living sprouts have now set leafset #3 so its looking good :D

danish, it looks like you have a mighty happy grow room. You've got quite the mj plant cycle of life from some wee seedlings to those hanging to dry, eh? I'm looking forward to your weigh in and smoke report. I'm really intrigued about the AK47 Lowryder - I like the autoflowerers since my good luck with Mighty Freeze.

It looks like all has been well with you, despite having to work harder these days. I was just in killa1234's log last night, and it appears he's been working overtime too. I'm in the same boat with you guys, putting in the extra hours at work these days. It's no fun, but it keeps the lights on. I'm hoping things will slow down a bit so I can get back to this board more frequently.

Hahahaha... no i just got home from a weekend trip to the countryside to enjoy the nature :D
I spend 2 hours earlier today just me on an OLD couch looking out on the rain that so was relaxing.

So here is the harvest smokereport...

I tried the lowryder the other day gave sort of an uplifting high not the best for my insomnia but high i kinda like it for the weekends.
So today to my big surprise on day off i find that the pot we harvested is now ready to be smoked.
So i hurry up and blend a homebrew of both and what do i discover, total braindamage for 2-3 hours if i blend the pot and the lowryder so im pretty happy.
We got 35-38g of dried bud from the lowryder (estimating on the wet smoke and all)
And we have 1,5q/m of drying pot so we're set for a couple weeks, and the small ones is doing great ill have pictures on sunday.

Just wanted to give the smokereport so there its done im off to another homebrew take care

danish, I'm glad to hear about the smoke report, and understand your need to get back to that homebrew! I'm looking forward to the Mighty Freeze tonight! I too am looking forward to some good cure photos.

Is that the best thing about getting high is that it provides a complete escape from all of our day-to-day stress and problems? I wonder if we lived 50 years ago, when life was a bit slower, if we'd even need to smoke? Yeah, I guess I would still want to, as it is an amazing feeling, and I loved it in high school when I really didn't have any problems, definitely no responsibilities!

The plants are looking great their all about 30cm / 1ft tall a few of them has long white hairs allready and they all have 3-5 sets of leafs, is it time to flower ? im realy im doubt here

If I were you i would top them and let them go for another week or two. This way you have more top buds and a stronger root system. Mature plants respond faster and more vigorously to the 12/12 photoperiod. So even though you are vegging for another week you might still finish around the same time with considerably more dank. Btw I noticed the burns looked alittle premature in that last picture... How long did it flowering? Also i saw on some of the pictures further down that they have a lot of stress leaves(one or two pronged leaflets). Usually a significant light leak is the cause of that. Light leaks will stress the sh!# out of your plant. Sometimes resulting in revegetation, hermaphrodism, or just an extremely long flowering period. Other than that it seems you got everything going well.

They are still vegging, im thinking about wether to give them 7 or 14 days more of veg before flowering, and then have both CFL+HPS for flowering or just HPS we will see how it all goes

All the plants except seems to be doing great so thats why we wanna see wether or not to put that single plant in the window till it can flower, still have a window with aprox 14 hours of light a day.


We have also learned that they need to flower a bit longer than what we did with first badge... but anyways earthydank thx for the advice, i am in the making of a growbox for 2x full size my self so that should give a little better results but we will see...

no idea which order their in but here is the little ladies, we give them another week then transplant give them a week to recover and then we flower.

Smoke report from the pot.
We have a SHITLOAD of it and it kicks ass all i can say, ever tasted lemongrass soup? thats how the smoke tastes of the this pot with no tobaco in it and it just glides down, the high is mindblowing in a scary way, just make you not care about anything yet no other effect, dont get tired, dont get laughy just dont care. Ok im rambling...

Update:
All the plants now have preflowers with long white hair except the 2 last ones to get in soil. So we finaly decided on schedular and we will transplant into 12L/aprox 3gal buckets on sunday and then we recover for a week and flower.
As of lack of space these 12L will be final resting home.
All of the plants looks to be female so we happy as something out of this world.

Conclusion on first grow:
The lowryder is gone, should have let the lowryder flower longer, this time around that mistake will be corrected.
We got around 35-38g of dried from the lowryder.
The pot is amazing im glad we have 3x more coming all female, those would be the bushy things on a couple of the pictures here, their all topped so should give good yield.
From the pot we got estimating as we didnt care to weigh it in, but a solid 300g is not that bad off, we been smoking it for 2 weeks without tobaco and handing out presents and still have a coffeecan full so basicly alot.
And smoke is as mentioned above amazing from the pot. Where does this pot come from, well its just seeds from a local plant which were highjacked some years ago from an outside grow in a friends garden but im trying to find out which strain it is if there is such a claim for pot as well i dont know.

For now this is the dane signing out...

So 2 days to transplant, plants are all except one about 30-40cm all showing long white hairs on the preflowers now.

Still trying to figure out if the CFL will do damage or good during flower together with the HPS... ???

Transplant went good, all plants now looking happy as always, need to pick up a few buckets though for the last plants, but not so rushy as they kinda need to catch up first.

The preflowers are looking good and the girls looking a small but bright green so except size its all looking good.

The big potbushes needs to be cut unfortunately this being because they are before flowering around 160cm this we cant keep with our space.
So probably do some bonzai' stuff on those see if i can succeed. The little baby is staying her self though, she is topped twice and is about 1m high starting flowering tomorrow and she is FULL of preflowers so we excited to see what she will bring.

I took pictures for jaze since he liked the symetrical way of my plants so here goes... and yes this is after we picked the plant you need to rotate them 90 right but im lazy and i figured you can still see how perfectly shaped it was, truly hurt me deep inside to slaughter it but no room to flower it alone :(

So a little follow up as we transplanted 2 more thereby making it 4 transplants today.

1 of the AK47xLR2 i just meassured in at 57,5cm barely 2ft which is impressive as info i can find say about 60-65cm at full flower so basicly we apparantly have some kind of freakshow going on. BUT WE LIKE IT!!!!!

None of this set is neither topped lst fimmed anything just plain old soil grown with setup mentioned earlier.
