:wtf: Interesting thread...I'm thoroughly confused on what you are trying to accomplish, smokeybear420. You have missed the outdoor season, if you insist on growing you should focus on an indoor grow.
Whatever you decide I hope it works out.

ya i know i missed it but i can only grow outdoors, and everyone knows cannabis is a survivor

It may be a survivor but it can't survive being frozen. Save your seeds. Don't pop the good ones this year. Use bagseed, since the whole thing is moot and you won't get a harvest either way, and at least you won't waste something you paid for. Chalk this season up to experience. You don't have a nice place in your house, like a closet or cellar, to grow?

umm ya but i dont have the money or the knowladge of how to grow indoors, all the indoor growing guides are all complicated and i need it to be somewhat simple, and it cant be huge because im in my moms house =/

You have winter in Jersey. It starts in November, with frosts earlier. Also, when you go back to school in fall, will you be able to check on your plants? Assuming they are even sexually mature by August 1st (they won't be) and start flowering on time (they won't), unless you know for a fact that you are running a 7-8 week TOPS strain, you're going to run up against freezing weather. How old are you anyway?

Cali is a totally different animal. You are probably fine to start out now. But hey... you're in Cali... start with CLONES!!! :D

That depends on starin... If yo have a predomonant indica then your chances of a tall plant are slim. Most indicas grow short and bushy. One of the easiest ways to tell if you have indica strain is to look at the leafs, if they have really fat fingers then they are most likely to be a dominant "indica" strain. The skinnier the finger the more "sativa" your plant has.
I would suspect if they are Sativa, that they wont get any taller then 6 feet fully mature outdoors. Inside i would say around 5' and if they are Indica 5' max outdorrs and up to 5' indoors, jus depends on how you train them.

Grow books are not really that complex. Just stick to the basics; soil, nutes and light and you'll be ok.
You probably shouldn't be growing indoors or outdoors if it's on your mothers property without her knowledge. I agree with the Can.com policy which discourages this type of behavior but on the other hand I'm being a bit of a hypocrite here because I grew on my dads property when I was a kid and really no matter how old you are, growing marijuana in the U.S. is illegal. You are going to do what you want but just stop and consider the possible negative consequences before taking this/these grow(s) any further. After an evaluation on this matter ask yourself "Is it really worth it, do the positives outweigh the negatives?"
Have a good one
