Or check on the end of a Cassava plant if you live in South America or anywhere else they grow. :thumbsup:Quote:

The pics are not the greatest so I will describe them the best I can.
The plants have 3 to five of the familiar looking leafs but the are not as close together as you might expect. The leaves are sorta clumping at the end of the green and purple stems with a small green bump in the center.
Any help will be appreciated.
You found the rarest of strains...... :wtf:
Why, if you could take pictures, would you rip it out of the ground before you even knew what it was? That's like killing an animal and THEN figuring out if you can actually eat it.
I would bet an organ on it not being Cannabis. I would also bet an organ that you haven't read this thread:

Seriously... just.... arghhh
Nope. Not weed. And seriously man, if you find pot plants in the woods, leave them for the farmer... we put a lot of effort into caring for our babies, so let us reap the rewards at the end of the season. :(
Didn't find them in the woods. They are growing right next to a house against the basement.Quote:

These plants look more like the real deal ( in person) then any thing is this thread.
Thanks for the sarcasm.Quote:

Maybe it will help others who thought they hit the jack pot.
I would still like to know what this is.
Thanks for the help.
Dude, now I REALLY am irritated at you.
First, you went on someone's property (=TRESPASSING) to dig up a plant that you WRONGLY believe to be Cannabis, when in fact it is an ornamental called Astilbe, or Goats Beard. I have a collection of Astilbe growing in the shade garden in front of my home as well, and if I saw some punk kid digging them up, I'd take off one of my oh-so-fashionable garden Crocs and nerf-slap him into next week.
Grow the fuck up and stop stealing other peoples' shit, KID.
You don't know what you are talking about kid.Quote:

Second, they were everywhere. It looked to me like someone had been standing on the isolated side of the house smoking and threw the seeds behind the bushes and they were growing wild. The lady has a daycare center at her house so I knew there was no way they could have been planted there on purpose. It's a rich family with rich adult kids, I figured maybe during a visit they were hiding from mom.
Third I have Astilbe growing in my front yard and I can tell you thats not what it is. Never seen a 5 foot Astilbe.
You shouldn't get so worked up without knowing the facts.
I have 4 Istibes growing on the north side of my house and just went to look. Not even close.
Well if it was a 5 foot plant, maybe you should have said so. And if you had a right to be tromping around other peoples' yards, you might have mentioned that too. I'm not sure what the homeowner being rich or old has anything to do with it either, lol. You think elderly ladies don't grow pot?
The foliage IS very similar to astilbe. There is also another wild weed that grows in New England that can get quite tall with leaves like that.
But either way, it's NOT pot. It looks nothing like pot... Totally wrong leaf structure. You've actually seen a pot plant before, no?
One other thing, I'm no kid.
I did say it was a 5 foot plant. Please reread my original post.Quote:

Since our members are largely medical card holders who depend on their plants for MEDICINE, we take theft of plants very very seriously.
OK. I agree with all that. Except the no info thing. I provided plenty of info.Quote:

yes I have seen plants before and this looked so close to the real deal ( in person) I pulled a three footer, took it home and showed it to my wife. She said it wasn't, but also said she has never seen anything else like it. So I planted it and tried for 4 days to find out what it was.
Sorry I offended anyone.
And I'm sorry I assumed you were a kid.
I highly recommend just saving your own seeds, like bag seeds to practice on. Growing from scratch is the best way to learn, even if it is too late in the year to do anything much this season.
Actually, Thanks to this fine site I am going to start a rubbermaid grow.Quote:

Found this plant and had to take a second look. The leaf structure is almost identical to weed, except the leaf does not split into five.
Sorry, but I'm Japanese, and NEVER seen a Jap. Maple VINE.Quote:
