looking great zeb
that area is gonna be great for the plants, and I see you got some natural barbwire(last pic) to keep the pests away. If you have some hardware cloth you might wanna wrap the other plants so they dont get eaten like the others. cant wait to see them in full bloom.
stay irie
Thanks Iriebowl.....:thumbsup:Quote:

I'm looking forward to seeing how your ladies will thrive under these excellent conditions!
I did notice a little yellowing of the lower leaves on the Hog x Shivas. I've seen this same yellowing on my own plant, and was wondering if you had a definitive answer as to the cause? I have read quite a bit on this board, and through assimilation of such information I have either accurately or inaccurately concluded it is from a nutrient issue, either a lack of nutrients or excess nutrients? I look forward to your experienced analysis.
Hope all else is well with you, my friend! Be good out there!
Hey, thanks for stopping by....
Yeah, I'm happy that i have different strains this year, i hope they will survive, so that there will be some variety....Quote:

In my case, it's very simple what the cause of the yellowing is. It's because the plants where in my small vegbox(which you can see in my other log), and there was limited space, so i gave them no nutes, in hope that they not gonna outgrow the box before i can put em out....it's the lack of Nitrogen that causes the yellowing...imo...Quote:

Thanks again....you too...:jointsmile:Quote:

Looks like you should do pretty good Zeb, funny here I'm called redeyed but every body I know calls me Zeb, caught me off gaurd when I saw your thread. Hey for future referance the tree thing works,I have done it. The trick is to use a rope and pulley so as to only climb the tree once. It's not so much that the soil will dry out but that the roots get to hot in the pale that's painted brown, black, green what ever. I did it twice as an experiment and got some buds, pretty good for a bag seed experiment. I won't do it again only because it is a royal pain in the ass and I got plenty of land to do my thing.
Sorry to change the scene but just wanted to throw that one out there. Good luck and and I'll check you out soon.:greenthumb:
Hey I've been looking at the trainwreck, ever grow it bfore? I have heard it K.O.'s you pretty good!
Hey Jakez, I'm glad i could help...if you are happy, the plants are too...imo....
If you have some more Q's, I'll try to help....It's always a great pleasure, when you stop by for a chat....
Zeb...:D Thanks for the info, now i know, it's possible...
You are rite, this tree grow thing could work, but it's far less pita to simply put the plants in the soil....the rope and pulley method is brilliant....:D
This is the first time i grow TW, but sadly this is just a cheap copy of the original, by GreenHouse Seeds....I'm not even sure it should be called TW, because i read in another forum that it has very few things common whit the real thing....But on the other hand, i read some good reports too....
We shall see, my Friend, we shall see.....:hippy:
Ya I know what you mean, it kinda rips me that alot of the new breeders are able to pass of their screwed up genetics to the rest of us. I applaude people for trying to grow the next best thing:clap:, that's the name of the game right, but don't distribute the crap in the process:cursing:.
Anyways, best of luck on your venture:bigsmoke:
Man that train wreck is gonna be A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! i've smoked it many of times and man oh man did it make me hungry, happy, sleepy! best of luck to your train wreck and your other mothers. hope all is well for you ZEB!
I was visiting the plants today, gave em water & nutes...
Everything looks good, no plants were eaten so far and i also discovered another female among the older HOG X Shiva's, so there are now 3 girls...
First, here are the older HOG X Shiva's....
Pic 1, 2 and 3 are the three lady's...
Pic 4 is 1, Pic 5 is 2, a bit closer....
Next, here are the youngsters....
They look happy, gave em water & nutes too...
Pic 1....The 4 HOG X Shiva's
Pic 2....The Big Bang(looks nice )
Pic 3....The Power Plant
Pic 4....Train wreck 1
Pic 5....Train wreck 2
And finally, some nature pix, just for fun....enjoy....:hippy:
beautiful pics zeb.. those things are gonna fill out to be monsters! I cant wait!
ZEB ABSOULTELY AMAZING!!! that Big Bang looks wonderful as as far as your HOG X Shiva's they look happy! what are you feeding them for nuts?
Hey Thanks Bomb and Camox....
I use BioCanna products, currently BioVega and later BioFlores, also a local product whit Potassium-Humic for the â??humic substancesâ?? and micro elements....
Zeb,
What are you currently using for defense against pests and animals? Have you had any trouble with that?
Hey, Backpacker.....
Only defense is what you see, no chemicals and stuff....yeah a few plants where eaten, but only HOG X Shiva's, so it was no biggie....
WOOOOOT !!!
Today was another visit day and the plants look so good....this time i only gave em water, no nutes....
I was a bit worried that i find the plants drooping because we have a minor heatwave currently, but they are looking good and enjoying the all-day sunshine....
It's bean only 8 day since they where planted out, but are already growing nicely....especially the Big Bang....that plant is already like 1 feet tall....i was like  when i saw it today...and it has shown sex....it's a She(from femmed seed)....
The other look good too....the Power Plant has already that smell, which i love so much...
The Trainwrecks seem to be struggling a bit, but it's no biggie....
So, first of all here are the HOG X Shiva's, which i figured could be called an IBL, because it was back crossed a few times already in past years.....
The Power Plant....:stoned:
She is my favorite, i love this strain so much....i hope she gonna become a big one....
Trainwreck 1 & 2....
First 2 pix are TW1, pic 3 & 4 are TW2....
They look a bit strange, like if they don't like too much direct sunlight, or there is some problem whit the soil....
But they are growing, and that is what's important....
10-4
Finally here is the Big Bang....
She has grown the most since the last visit....
Gonna get Big, that's for sure...dunno about the Bang, we'll have to wait till harvest....:D
That's it for today....enjoy....(comments are welcome)
zeb it looks like your plants are lovin life right now. Those are gonna be monster! and the Power plant is looking really nice!
Hey, thanks Dude....i hope they gonna get big, especially the PP....
I know vegging plants are not that interesting....i think about Aug., Sept., the log will become more interesting, so i think until then i gonna update less often....take care peeps...:hippy:
zeb, I'm glad to see your plants doing so well, my friend! They appear to really love that incredible location of yours! I can't wait to follow your PP grow, as I ordered some Nirvana Pure Power Plant awhile back and am currently, anxiously awaiting their arrival. I've heard great things about the PP strain, and hope they are true!
I hope you have continued good luck! Be good out there!
Thanks Jake....
Today was another visit day, gave em nutes...Here are the pix...first, the three Hog x Shiva girls....
Girl one....: Side branches are growing nicely, altering nodes have appeared...
Girl two....: She is a bit stretchy, not getting that much light as the first one....
#3....: She is the smallest, but has plenty of time to catch up...
Next, the little Hog x Shiva's and the Power Plant...
The Trainwreck's....Tw1 :wtf: and Tw2....
And finally the gorgeous Big Bang....she's growing real fast and already has a nice minty ganja smell....
Well, that's it for today, enjoy.....:hippy:
Your Teeny-Bopper's, Are Looking Real Sexy My Brother!!!!........Take Good Care Of Them, & Maybe They Will Grow To Be Big Busty Hoe's Some Day!!!!~~~~~~:pimp::pimp::pimp::pimp::pimp:
Thanks Hatch.....:thumbsup:Quote:

hey just wondering do u plant just in the dirt or did u put any additives in it?
mighty nice grow there, Zeb. :smokin:
zeb, you have a mighty fine grow with some incredible strains! I know I keep commenting on your location, but you couldn't have dreamed up a better location I don't think. You have done an incredible job in caring for these ladies, and it really shows!
I hope you have continued good luck in this season's grow. You will wind up with some great variety of smoke that will hopefully keep you in the green until next season!
Keep on keepin' on, my friend!
Hey, Thanks Shov and Jake....it's nice to get a pat on the back...:hippy:
Was visiting the plants yesterday, gave em water....nothing special ...one of the little Hog X Shiva's got eaten, but luckily it was a male, nature helped me out...:)
Plants are doing good, growing nicely, but the Big Bang has gone nuts....it's growing like crazy....i thought Power Plant had an "enormous grow potential", but the BB is already twice as big as the PP....but it is older too....
So i took pix yesterday and made a Gif. of the little Hog x Shiva's, it's only 3 pix and it's shitty, but somewhat cool imo...little time lapse....
The other 2 pix are the Big Bang....enjoy peeps....:hippy:
lookenn very nice there. zeb.
hope they give U some nice and big buds.
I know this is a little late, but the only thing that determines if a weed plant flowers or vegges is the light schedule and variety of weed. And as far as a know a plant can be revegged an infinite number of times.Quote:
