Bubblelicious and Blueberry first grow
Great! Thanks to whoever moved my thread, and thanks for the comments guys! I'll post some pictures tomorrow, I did a FIM today (haha) chopped off a branch accidentally. I left the other 3 alone. I also transplanted the blueberry seedling. Hopefully I can finish the plants in these pots, the hydro store guy said I should be able to but he did mention something about having to adjust nutes to compensate for the rootbound.

Great looking setup, plants look healthy. I just finished a single fem blueberry not too long ago, turned out great. Not a hundred percent bean free but a great smoke, and heavy high. Keep it up!

I might guess that the Blueberry requires less nutes, that's what little I've read about it.
I've grown lots of Bubblegum (Bubblicious) and that strain can take pretty strong nutes (although, I reached that point with my present grow, including the yellowing leaves. I flushed the pots and continued without the strong nutes, the plants came right back.
I am going to try and get some Blueberry seeds for my next grow.

Bombdiggity, I used bubblelicious seeds from Nirvana aswell for my 1st grow a while ago.. Really nice plant to grow. I got 5 fems out of 10 which was pretty good.. She's a lovely light green colour and get real frosty..:D
Only down part about it is the smell is real strong, so Id get a good ventalation set up..
Apart from that its all good, especially the smoke and taste...
Good luck

thanks Shovel! As far as the Blueberry goes, I have given it 0 nutes, and as far as I know the soil I have does not have any added nutes either. Not sure whats goin on there, but I did transplant a few days ago so maybe its still recovering from that.
Thanks for stopping by and giving advice! Dont be stranger :pimp:

Uh-oh strong smell! I'm going to be getting a carbon scrubber and hang it in my closet above the cab. SO it wont be built into the ventilation system, but should still keep it under control.
I can't wait flower these bitches!

sweet thanks guys! I feel so loved over here in the grow log section :)
blueberry still isnt doing shit. I'm just gonna stop frettin on it and let it do its thing. We'll see what happens.
LST starting in the next couple of days, I waited a little longer than I wanted to before starting it. Can I continue to do LST early into flowering or will that create too much stress?

Bomb is the trainer. So however you picture how your plant should look dictates how you train it. As the plant flowers you will want to continue to train the plant to expose the maximum foliage to the light source.

From everything I have read on scrogging, training continues well into flowering. Hopefully someone will confirm this.

alright I took the plunge and tied em down. I'll take pics later tonight. Also I fed them 1 1/4tsp of growbig after learning that this strain can handle heavy feeding.
Thanks for the input guys, glad to have you on board. Lets see how this goes :)

Really quick update before work. Just some pictures. Plants are responding really well to the LST, I tried to capture the main stem in some of the photos.
Blueberry is slowly progressing, with almost dead bottom leaves and healthy new growth (?)

Thanks! They germed on 3/20 I think, not sure how many days it is. About 3 weeks ~21days. I'll start counting days when I go into flower :D

Looking sweet man...
Did u manage to get some thing sorted for the smell?
-

I'm going to be ordering a carbon scrubber from HTG like next week or the week after - but definetly before flower!
Here's an update, I'll post one with a view of the main stem on my best LST subject. Shits CRAZY how much developement takes place as soon as you start tying them down.

why thank you! i'm almost scared because things are going so smoothly for me on my first grow. I guess its still early but I feel blessed that I'm not dealing with very many problems lately.
I re-did my passive intake. I used 4" duct, about 24" of it and snaked it in a S shape to trap light. I think I still might have to cover it with panda film, gonna have to wait till tonight to see if its actually light proof. The good news is though this lowered my temps to 76-77 with my room temp being 75.5. I'm fuckin stoked about that and now I can get my lights much closer to my plants. Temps were about 82-86 before.
Now I just need to figure out a way to lightproof my exhaust, which is just a computer fan and I think its slightly larger than 4". I might just try attaching the duct to the outside of my box around the fan - centered as much as possible and see how it goes. So right now other than my duct my box is 98% air tight.
YES! :D:D:D:D:D
(Will post pics late tonight my girlfriend has the cam right now)

Bubblelicious and Blueberry first grow
Well I managed to duct tape my exhaust duct to the outside of the computer fan, and my temps are still below 80 so all is well! I'm concerned though, because a little bit of light can be seen coming out of the ducts, both the intake and the exhaust - I even have it bent in 2 90' angles. Any suggestions??

Well, I took some pics like 5 min ago. First couple are of what looks to me to be pistils.. Can someone confirm this?
Other pictures are of the Blueberry showing great new growth, with a very bright green color, and my new cab modifications that I did today.
Someone please check those pistils for me I'm noob

Hey, plants look great. Looks to me like it's not showing sex yet and shouldn't until you induce flowering (12/12). I have some plants that are about a week older and I'll try to post some pics to give you an idea of what to look for.
-
Bubblelicious and Blueberry first grow
ah I thought preflowers could show up in veg. thanks for clearing that up for me
-
Bubblelicious and Blueberry first grow
i always wait to flower till i see pre-flowers....look for a little ball/hershey kiss shaped thing where your branches go off the main stem...while you may not get actual sex, you will get pre-flowers in veg...I never call a sex till i see pistils, or nuts, and sometimes females will look like males when you only have a few on there.
so wait for white hairs (pistils) coming out of the hershey kiss(calyx) or a little grape looking cluster (nuts, balls,...dude)
good luck!
