jimmy here's hoping a garden in every home is the wave of the future right? Tons of good folks here to help if you need any. :)
Amen to that.Quote:

Still, in the meantime I can get inspiration for an indoor set up by watching you work your magic. Nice job!
I think most the time a plant should be harvested in 2 or 3 stages. Unless of course a person just wants to have 3 different kinds of smoke from one plant. It seems like all my buds on any one plant are never done at the same time.
PS. Don't ever have withdrawls. Holy shit.
Ok big time noob here so here goes my question. I see your set up WH and I was thinking of trying something simialer but I am really unsure of the water schedule. I know with soil how the watering goes but have no clue with the net pots and bucket set up. If you or anyone here could give me some pointers I would be very thankful.
The water schedule is: change it completely once every 2 weeks or so. Food in the water after 2 weeks, starting slowly, building up to roughly 1200 parts per million or so (meter needed). Water occasionally with just water, or monitor reservoir PPM carefully. Change from veg food to bud food when you go to flower mode. And put lots of bubbles into the water schedule. Very important.
Oh yeah, a lot of people like to eliminate food from the water schedule during the last week or 10 days, to help get rid of any food taste in the bud.
What Opie said :D
I have a drip ring setup so I run the drip portion 24/7 with the higromite rocks (or if I were using hydroton for a medium). Different mediums will require different watering routines.
Sweet thx Opie and Mrs. WH.
Any photos of your Redwood Grow? I'm anxious to see how we're doing, Weedhoud!

Stealth.....most likely tomorrow I'll take the top half......wanted things to flush for a day or two first then we'll let the rest sit for awhile and see what happens. ;)
Shov the trees are still babies.....I'm just trying to do entertainment in the meantime (:D)and try out a few different things in the setup to get the tweaks out. Going to be awhile before the "trees" appear. They are doing very well......both living up to their reputations and growing away happily.
Just fyi......I DID go to half strength on the Liquid Light and while I did not get the same HUGE results that I did with full strength I also did NOT get any burned leaves as I had been getting with the full strength solution. I'm going to try 1/2 strength every other day a few times and see how it works. Thanks Opie for the tip. ;)
Bomb thanks for stopping by.....sorry but we're at intermission right now. :(Quote:

Here's for in the meantime......

Hi WH, just was wondering what these redwoods mike look like as little seedlings. I know they aren't going to pop out of the ground with colas on 'em. <G>Quote:

And what kind are they again? (without me having to look at page 1. My dialup connection is slower than watching sativa mature.)
Good luck!

My pleasure. 1/2 seems plenty on my plants.Quote:

Lol, Braindamage...LOL! I like that and if I ever invent a strain I am going to steal that name for it. :D
I'll grab some photos of them tomorrow....I should get in the habit of updating a photo once a week and update the specs as well. It's Power Plant and Brainstorm.
Ps....I really think I like Braindamage better.......:D
Weedy, I only run one small grow at a time, but I've been filing weekly digital photos as well as keeping my written jounal. I can tell a lot with the photos and dates.
But you have quite a bit more going on that I do, I betcha.
Sho
Well I did get some update photos but will wait until the site is moving a little faster to upload with my dial up. Having pc issues as well.
I've got that same problems with sllllooooowww 26.5 Kbs dial-up. Actuall through put is as low as 2-4 Kbs, with only one window open! :wtf:
Shov
So I'm on a temp pc and it's having trouble with the o's so if I miss an o just fake it....
These guys were put in the system on 3/11 and have been doing very well the whole time. I've actually been pushing them a bit with the nutes but cut back the Liquid Light to half strength and am glad I did.
Power Plant (first two photos) and Brainstorm. So far this Brainstorm seedling has been the easiest seedling I have ever sprouted. NOTHING seems to slow it down......so far that is.
Shov....so YOURE the guy using the other 26k of my dial up....we should coordinate our usage.....:D
So we ended up taking about the top two thirds of this plant....at about 10% amber (I was going to wait longer but on subjective bioassays found that she was plenty "relaxing" already.)
Figured I'd let the other third go for a few days and see if it did or didn't help the bottom third finish a little better. She's on just ph'd water right now.
Just tossed in for a bit of eye candy. These weighed out (25% of wet weight) at 86 gms. There's possibly one more oz still on the plant so about 4 oz when all is said and done.
I wouldn't grow this particular strain again but I have to give it props for just plain being a tough plant.
She seemed shocked for about a day and has bounced back somewhat. You can still see what a tangled mess of plant is left from the side view. Believe me she was that thick and bushy ALL the way through.
Killer looking eye candy!
I'm fresh out for at least another month, month and a half. :( So, with that in mind, enjoy the harvest doubly for me!
Oh dear.....that sounds depressing!! Sorry to hear that Mr C.....we need to get you going with a nice little hydro setup.
:stoned:goddamn WH....lookin YUMMY!!:stoned:

Haha, I'm still pondering heavily on it! Not sure whether to build a setup like yours, or I also have the opportunity to get some good hydro equipment for free (reservoirs, a few DWC bucket setups, and some other goodies) from a friend, but the friend who'd be giving it to me was raided not too long ago. So I'm trying to distance myself from him for a bit. Weird thing though, they took his lights and plants, but left everything else... growing apparatuses, nutrients, etc. Guess they didn't feel like lugging all that stuff down to the police station.Quote:

Gonna take some pics in a few minutes but go check out my C crowd log.....the white widow went NUTS and I've put the whiteberry in a larger bucket as well so now she's gone kind of wild as well.

PP lost a leaf but other than that they both look good so no worries....yet. :wtf: :D :stoned:
That Brainstorm is a really nice easy grower.....she's quicker than that PP so far.
