A few things I love:
Bolt Thrower, Deicide, Dying Fetus, Fleshless, Skinless, Kataklysm, Cannibal Corpse, Ministry, Six Feet Under, Mortician, Waco Jesus, Amon Amarth, Prostitute Disfigurement, Cattle Decapitation, Danzig, Panzerchrist, Sepultura, Testament, White Zombie, Morbid Angel, Entombed, Vader, Arch Enemy, In Flames, Nile, Torture Killer, Anal Cunt...
killswitch engage really arent very good. if you like them but not most other metal i'd say it is a case of you liking the guy and being blind to the music. youll figure it out now or later, either way it will be refreshing when you do. i saw them in concert at ozzfest....wow. thats all i can say. except that i dont mean wow in a positive way.Quote:

How about, at least for now, we pretend to respect others preferences? ;) haha
and if observations like this are evidence of being blind...Then that's like some Ray Charles shit right there :jointsmile:Quote:

yeah a few of them are technically hardcore punk bands, but the line between metal and hardcore blurs many times
Racer X, BUCKETHEAD, Pantera and other old stuff.
Well I thought I might be gettin' old but now I'm sure of it,(I wanna thank you guys,lol)...Most of these bands i've never heard of...
I saw Black Sabbath at MSG with Van Halen as a warm up band in 1978... Van Halen had 1 record and not to many people knew who they were...One of the best concerts i've ever seen...
A few posts back a guy was talking about how it was incredible watching his band start a set while a guy lit a joint...In the 70's,it was incredible if you weren't getting high at a concert!!!:420thought:
I personnally really like Rhapsody
