Looks like your doing a great job jchap. Don't know to much about growing but I have seen some great weed in my time and those plants look on par.
thanks man :stoned:Quote:

I take random samples all over the plant. I snip very, very small samples of bud leaf and put it on a white paper plate and scan it with a pocket microscope from Radio Shack..$10...:thumbsup:Quote:

hmm one plant has developed yellow spots on the fan leaves
2 questions
what is it?
will it destroy the plant? (2 weeks remaining )
sorry forgot to mention that i have just started just plain watering them
also the spots cover the whole plants leaves
the other 2 plants aren't affected
searching the web seems to suggest iron toxidity??
but i cant see it being that tho
anyone plz im starting to panick and i dont want to do anything till i've had some advice:(
2 weeks to go, giving plain water, your plants look better than average. Those spots resemble a potassium def but that's FINE within 2 weeks of harvest. You will start to see the low leaves going pale soon, too- also normal.
Chill! You did well! :D
phew i can chillax now!
i was expecting yellowing of the leaves but spots?
thnx again StinkyAttic for all the assistance xxx
You'll see all sorts of deficiencies during a pre-harvest flush. Nitrogen is obviously the most common, but others appear too. Which one you see first depends on how much of that fert component you managed to get out of the soil, how fast the individual plant is using it, and how much the plant had stored in its tissues.
Chillax yall. :D
are those clones? and totally cool growin in ur backyard
no grown from seed in my wardrobe:DQuote:

anyone wanna guess the yield??
...it's not the weight that counts....it's the height...that matters...:abduct:Quote:

young > mature
i think it's better to have 3 short plants than 1 big one, i could be wrong thoQuote:

can anyone advice me on the CORRECT procedure before harvest
i heard 36hrs of darkness was a good idea
plants should be ready this monday, although the trichs are still all cloudy
seen 1-2 amber
is it correct that putting them in 36hrs darkness prior to harvest will spreed up the elusive amber trichs?
been flushing now for 10 days, pistels are about 40% brown, hardly any yellowing of the lower leaves
any advice would be appreciated:jointsmile:
..that means ...your close. I don't do anything else...except wait for 10% amber. No water, no nutes...nothing but wait....and scan the trichomes, with your microscope, once a day....:thumbsup:Quote:
seen 1-2 amber
No need to rush it...no need for 36 hours dark.
woohoo thanks man for the info;)
harvest pics soon hopefully
looked today and couldn't find any amber trichs:wtf:
they are all cloudy
how long to go from cloudy to amber?
i know i sound impatient but these girls haven't eaten in 11 days, just worried the amber trichs will take up to 2 weeks to arrive, leaving them starved or dead
or maybe i shouldn't worry
i read somewhere that the first sign of amber is when you should flush, if thats correct then i've fooked up
heheh it's when i've had a spliff i start to panic about the plants :i feel stupid:
would it be ok to cut i bud off to sample, or would that be to stressful?
If you can't wait....well ok ...been there, done that...:DQuote:

some of these are a bit blurry
can you guess how long anyone
some more blurry shots
more :woohoo:
if you click on the first trich pick you get a clearer shot
these plants need watering soon but does anyone think i should leave em now till harvest?
have you run flushes through them yet? How long until harvest do you think? 2-3 weeks? Your trichs still all looked cloudy.
IF you're about 2 weeks out or so I'd go ahead and start flushing with plain water. Try to get out all the nutes and salts from the plants. Less chlorophyll is good too
yep been flushing for nearly 2 weeks already
hope they finnish soon, supposed to be ready on the 7th but i dunno
maybe i started the flush to soon
the hardest part of growing for me is the harvest
YAY the 7th is my birthday:rastasmoke:Quote:

:bump2:
