very nice little girls you got there, and i love the DIY equipment. i'm an old geezer too, in fact i think the only way to get AARP off my ass is to join LOL.
as for hydro v dirt? in my limited experience and my extensive reading, hydro out performs dirt in every situation except outside and then, it's not the dirt, it's the sun
justanotherbozo,
Thanks for the props...She usually will be finished earlier in dirt, Reaper tells me, but she is 10 weeks and yet no amber to speak of..and going strong...
Been a member of AARP for years!! I'm sure we are many...
Keep on growin!!

Treetops,
For your experience, how much (in grams or ounces) will the "Sour Jack" provide to actually smoke?
Looks beautiful and I'm sure it was a labor of love!

Hydro,
Following FoxFarms schedule....I changed nutes every 7 days...topping off with ph'ed water and nutes, mixed half and half....

Sorry if this is just me but, I use LST in soil and while in veg I prune off some very low fan leaves occasionally til shes about a foot.(I'll make sure I won't go above more than 4-6 sets) Then I stop pruning and let her gain another 6" inches before flower. It gets just as lush and thick without this hassle. I like your spirit brother but sometimes you just have to find where your effort is well founded. Peace.

cannaninja,
So a kola, weighing 49+ grams from a plant thats 24" tall isnt a good effort? Please...
Thanks for your input..
Peace,
Treetops :)
i'm with you Tree, i'd be seriously grinnin' with a yield like that and i'd feel that my 'effort' was more than well spentQuote:

Hey Tree,
Maybe you could get folgers to sponsor your next grow...nice job, was there plenty of room in the coffee cans or did you run into any rootbound issues
thanx for the entertainment

Naaa, they wouldnt dare, with all the trouble thats brewing with those guys at the moment....Plenty of room...room to spare...I ended up with about 20gms or so...not much but potent....it can only get better from here...
