^^ me too, ive seen it like at least 15 times... hahhah
It is so sad that the Gov wants to keep Marijuana away fromw us but wants our children on Zoloft.
I remember seeing the trailer for this doc. a few months ago. Unfortunently, it hasnt shown near any theaters near me, and i've been looking for the torrent for months : /
Maybe soon the government will make it illegal for the sun to shine, or for it to rain or snow...How long does it take them to figure out that they cannot stop a plant from growing?? They can limit the amount of chemicals available to make drugs, but they will never be able to reduce the amount of water and sunshine that makes marijuana grow...
I'm really surprised there aren't more of these documentaries. Thanks for sharing this with us.
I'm beginning to like the theme song to the trailer and website even more! :)
I wanna watch this dam movie omg. The fact that it's somewhere out there and I cant watch it kills me

Hell yeah. That's what I'm talking about. Amazing documentary.
Stand up to ignorance.
I emailed the makers of the film and they said they were currently looking for a distributor for a DVD release. :D

Did they find a distributer yet?

Just a theory.
Sounds like a biased psychologist to me. That'd be similar to saying that alcohol and tobacco is as dangerous as the harder drugs (which, in reality, it can be), and stating this just because of the tendencies one may have to become addicted. MMJ is far less dangerous than the other legal toxins available on the market today, far less physically addictive, and far less likely to make one develop life-threatening health problems.Quote:

Why don't they just release it for free, this movie was made last year and they still can't find a distributor? I'm sure any distributor they finally get isn't going to let them take home much profit, so might as well just leak it out for free.

Why not just use some kind of DRM and charge a few bucks over Paypal or something to download it?
Or partner up with Microsoft to distribute it over Xbox Live, hey, if they can host Reefer Madness then they can host a documentary worth paying for
ugh.. I would love to see this. Searched the torrents with no luck either. Anyone know if this is in any theatres in America?
Definitely cannot wait until it's full release.

Did anybody go to the LA Premier to see this? I did :)
(thanks to Justonevoice for the info!)
Great documentary, however I was disappointed they didn't interview, (anyone?), on the prohibition side of the issue. However, it was chock full of marijuana prohibition history and gave a very interesting insight into the business of marijuana, and how prohibition causes it to be highly profitable. The business aspect is mostly focused from a Canadian point of view, so what was said would be sure to surprise any average American used to insane penalties for growing/selling marijuana. Lengthy doc, but good.
Unfortunately I didn't get to stay after to find out about any info on a DVD release, hopefully that is to come soon.
Make sure to watch American Drug ar as well, it's playing on showtime this month.
And don't forget this one from 1995.. Amazing how far we haven't come in 13 years....
