Nice to have you. Welcome.
Thanks Shaggzx! What strain do you grow?
Could you possibly give me any figures? I am trying to plan a visit with a possible relocation there within the next year.
I can't tell you what average people make because I am not average. I make my own money my own way. And the fact of life is, no matter where you live, you gotta pay bills, so you adapt to making more if you need more.
Hey, Im fairly new here too. How's living in the 'Dam been? I'm going up there for New Year's with some friends and can't wait!! Also checked out your grow pics, I can't wait until the day that I have my own place to grow again (did the indoor grow thing twice with delicious results, still very much a novice though).
New Years will be a good time! LOL I should remove those pics... those are old pics, just pics I liked, not my actual grow pics.
I hope you enjoy yourself here there are plenty of great ppl on here so I am sure you will, it would be great to read about your led grow if you started a grow log. The concept of growing with led's intrigues me and I am always looking to read more first hand experiences with it and I know there are several others as well.
Welcome to the boards ,
Too sweet , less than 30 posts and shes already aroused me we talk of my King and Leader "Krusty" !!!! :D
1. How many gallon containers are you using ?
2. How many watts ?
3. What nutes ? Any cool formulas , specail recipes ?
4. Your best yield per bucket ?
5. Is it a recirculating system ?
Weedhound -n- Scarlet Sky are hydro grower chicks too , they might be by , or look em up .
Peace Sis.

LED's work pretty good and they barely use any wattage. I have an entire veg/clone room lit 24hrs only by LED's and they grow almost too fast for me. The advantage is that I can move them around under the different color lights (there's blue and red) and control their growth just by moving them a few inches, since the LED light is basically direct focused beams. For example, if it's growing too tall, and I want it to bush out and go wider, I move it so more blue hits the plant than red. If they are too short, or I have just topped them and I want it to grow a bunch of long branches for cloning, I move it to the red LED side. Drawbacks to LEDs are since the beam is so focused, it's hard to get it to penetrate, no matter how white/reflective the walls are. And you need a lot of them if you have a lot of plants and they are EXPEN$IVE(but you save on electricity). Another benefit is that they look more like a party decoration novelty light than a grow light, so you leave them in plain view and no one suspects that a wacky disco party light like that can grow weed.Quote:

I just use the cheapest 3 part nutrients, and I hand water them. The containers are about 3L and filled with grow rocks. I made the containers so that there's a high drain hole, and it keeps always a 9 or 10cm reservoir of formula at the bottom, like a water table. I haven't harvested yet, since I'm still starting out in my new location. I veg under 25watts of LEDs (which is a lot for LEDs), and I flower under 1000w HPS. I keep them really small, flowering them as soon as I can. Right now I'm trying to fill up the garden. I'll keep you updated!Quote:
