hey whisky, whats the total amount of true CFL watts that you're running there?
Im planning on running a 12'x24'x40' grow box with 8 26 watt cfl's...so thats about 8x1600lumens which is about ~13000 lumens...maybe 1 or 2 plants with LST to fit in there. Is that enough lighting?

Ive transplanted 5 plants, the other 4 are schedules to transplant on the weekend.
Theres some burn on the plants, I added a bunch of water into the tub and the nute solution has become less. I wont be adding any further nutes for 1-2 weeks.
I have some new seeds from a new weed going.
Everything is going slow but this grow might just make it! Ive put too much effort and money into this one, it shall not fail!

got the overnute problem a little more undercontrol
4 plants are underdevelopped mutants, I dont think theyll be growing anymore then that. If next week they are still the same, there going down.
to my surprise the other 5 are perfectly fine.. guess they were good seeds! I just might make it this time :P Out of 5 however many fems come out will stay veg until the new batch ( which is still germinating ) is ready to go flower, so theyll get big and strong :)

everything is turning out fine, the plants are at perfect health and rapidly growing ( time for lst ).
removed a male.. sad that one had to be the male, its was the shortest and most compact one.
The remaining are 2 big ones and a very broad leaf midget (indica grrr *drool drool* ). One of the biggies is a girl ( photo ) and the other Im suspecting male but we shall see. The smaller one I dont have a clue about.
Planting new seeds as they germinate ( its taking them but theyve started to crack through the shell so theyll be planted this week ). Whatever females come out of the 2 plants will get Lsted along with the current and stay vegetative until the new batch are at 5 weeks or so.. then flowered all together.
Im aiming for some monsters ( weedensteins ).
So if everything goes well these gals will go to flower at about 10 weeks of age.

havent started flowering yet but I think ill start this weekend I cant hold on much longer, and I want some bud for late spring.
The germinating seeds are taking for ever... if they do germinate ill let them grow on 12/12

Im very happy with them being so healthy.. oh and the 3rd plant is also a girl 99% sure.. it hasnt shown long hairs yet but just one pistil like thing .. if it wouldve been a male there wouldve been balls all overit already. :jointsmile: im very happy with 3 females

changed the bulbs, 10 total 3 white 7 orange.
i just filled the water tank, i woke up in the morning and theres no water... wtf?
im not sure about the sex of the 3rd plant.. just started showing, will know by next week.

You have some nice plants going there this time:)
There are a few things I noticed while skiming over your log and pics. I didn't read all your manifesto's yet. :)
First germination: I use the paper towel method and place the seeds in sealed zipplock. Then place it on top of my cable box for the warmth and it has very little light. Then I check every 12 hrs. When I notice a seed crack it immediately goes in soil.
Next seedlings: I take it you are using high quality soil and no nutes are needed for 2 weeks. This is the reason for your nute burn early on.
Nutes: I did not see your nute program just keep in mind you are doing a CFL grow and the plants require less nutes due to the limited intensity of CFL's and photosynthisis is slower and requires less food than say a HID grow. So when adding nutes use the lowest recommended amount for every other watering and only increase if a difficancy starts to appeare. Next alternate between nuted water and plane water when watering.
Now somwhere I read you tossed a plant that was short and something else assuming it was male. If I am correct you have it backwards. Unfortunatly your tallest most vigorous plants from seed are usually male.
Another thing is that foil or mylar on your box walls? If foil get rid of it and get some mylar. Foil is a poor light reflector and with cfl grows you need all the light for the plants not the walls. At a minimum paint them flat white. I did notice some light deficiency problems in your previous grows, especialy when they get bigger.

Just to let you know you have a very promising grow going this time and love to see some buds on them you will be proud of. :) :)

the soil has some organic stuff in it so i assume when i did give nutes at first they burned a little.
the previous grow i tossed it away because the plants were mutants, not because i assumed they were male.
seeds i got here are very low Q and since they just plant them in huge farms here they get hermied over generations and are treated badly so im sure that goes into their genes.
theres no foil just white paper.
sure itll be great to have someone pointing out these things come any time you want :)
flowering day 5 now i think. one of the big plants was male unfortunately, i really liked it.
now we have 1 shorty female 1 big female, photos coming in the weekend.

baby buds starting to form
some fan leaves dropped off, so ill give a little veg nute next time i dont want to give too much but i dont want to risk having N troubles. just a little with tomorrows watering.
us humans have evolved around using our 5 senses, so we cannot use the sense of feeling and sensing because we have ignored those and just paid heed to our eyes, ears, nose, touch. because of this our 6th sense is underdevelopped. people who train their spirit along with their mind reach the state of being one with everything and feeling life.
plants have 6th sense and they can feel emotions, try to talk to your plants, touch them and close your eyes and think happy thoughts. this makes them happy too.

This is just random seeds I had. To my luck though there different strains as you can see. 1 is more sativa the other is more indica.
Although this isnt going to give me alot im still happy because ive been waiting since 2007 and ill have 2 different tastes and highs to try out with my smoking buddy.
I gave them some guano the other day, after a full day passed they look like there bigger. Guano it is then :thumbsup:
Harvest will probably be in about 3-4 weeks. Ill wait for 50% amber trics and 80-90% hairs to go orange.

tomorrow ill feed again with guano, i gave them straight water last time.
buds have started filling in the gaps between them and packing up into one solid bud.. i hope itll be like that at the end ;) theres still alot of time for the buds to form..

some tips burned from last weeks nuting and the leaves got a bit brittle, im moving up the flush for tomorrow and then ill flush again on saturday.
they look ready for harvest, my jars hunger to store the buds too :D
so ill flush tomorrow, flush again saturday then if I think its ready for harvest then ill go ahead and not water again till tuesday/wednesday and harvest then.
i dont want to let them get too ripe and almost all hairs are brown now, trics look white havent seen amber.. i guess some will appear this weekend and by harvest itll be around 10% and perfect timing.
any suggestions?

flushed today.. spilled damn wet soil all over myself :D
I took out the sativa first and found out its huge! all the colas were too heavy for the branch and the thing was making a 270degree looking down I had to hold it with one hand (pic 84).
since these things are in a tent and i look down on them everyday my eyes couldnt really see how big they actually were and there huge.
then I flushed her and then took out the indica, which wasnt as big so it was easier, and flushed her too.
from soil to top the sativa was at just 60cm with the indica at 53.
now to tastes... gggg mggg pggg I had to sit down and spend 10 mins just smelling. The sativa smelled great and I loved it but it was the indica smell that really blew me away..
Imagine that when you smell it your mind flows into a river of this soft, thick, heavy substance and then theres a really sharp lemonish fruity smell waving its sword around there.. thats kind of what it smells like.
It takes alot of effort to move them around and get the buckets get the etc etc... take the pots out, be careful to not grind them onto the lights.. I cant flush them again on saturday so ill just hope that was enough. The water came out dark yellow-green so I hope most ferts were flushed out. Ill give it a nice feed of water on saturday (day51) then stop water and wait till wednesday (day55) and chop them.
The only thing I regret is having bought too small jars last time I went out :D I bought two small clean jars and they wont be enough so ill have to use the old ugly ones again, oh well.
I have a friend going to amsterdam maybe he might be able to bring seeds for me, if that fails next year I have another friend thatll go as well and he can bring for sure. If I do get nice seeds then Ill buy a HPS for flowering.
