You might say, I got an early start this year. Any guesses as to what month this was planted? There are few younger ones in pots, but it's a bit dark for pics now.

nice looking Berry Kenn
I have to cut down the joints at brekky time, I managed to delete my post rather than post it
I wont both with what I was told the seed was, it came from a guy that was trying to get my pants down. Not what I would judge as the most trustworthy or truthful state of mind.
It grew a nice smoke though, nothing to wet your pants over, I've kept it going for sentimental reasons.
edit ~ It actually germinated in late april/early may, surviving winter under glass. I wanted to see if it would survive winter. It did. Now I want to see how big it will get, must have a fairly deep root system by now.
Otherwise I'm waiting on an order... time is ticking by... this is the only time I wished I lived in the city.... no transferring the post to donkey for the final leg of delivery.
I would dearly love to be able to say that I will be growing aurora indica as well this season, but unless they whip the donkey a bit harder, I don't think I am going to get it in time.
At least the experiment is showing female preflowers, I kept one clone and I have another couple in 40 litre pots (germed Oct, pics of one before and after tying) that are coming on nicely. The season wont be a total loss, just sativa dominant, which I am a bit sick of smoking, but I can live with it. :hippy:
Nice plants guys......sorry to hear about those fence jumpers kenn i would beat the seven shades of shit out of them if i found out who did it.
yer Rut',I hope someone does try it this year it should be very amusing..lol:chainsaw:

Other than that, I'm still waiting for the postie :hippy:
Hard to believe she has been growing there for more than 7 months already, I usually have them out of the ground in in 7 and 1/2 months and she has moved into flowering 3 weeks before the solstice. I suppose this just shows that the photo period is less of a factor with a plant of this age.
From this point they usually take 12 weeks to finish flowering. That would take me to the end of Feb. Possibly even before the coppers in choppers start looking for the successful backyard green thumbs.
Other than that I am still waiting for the postie... :hippy:
The other pic is one of my october seedlings (same strain, but with some of dad's Afghan genes showing through)
Nice plants. :)
Nice work S,L..now Im a man of my word so heres mine ....just some random pics of my plants......as you can see they are loving life and so am i.:D

I reckon that would set you guys up for all the weed you need for the year. :)
Extra nice :D I reckon growing is a bit like getting tattoos Kenn, once you start it's hard to stop. I've only ever grown outdoors, I've toyed with the idea of indoor growing, but seeing as I am having modifications done to the house in the new year, I'll stay with the outdoors for a while longer.
My aim RUTB is to meet my recreational and medicinal needs for the year from my own efforts. I usually do grow enough, but run out coming into summer because I give it to close family and friends during the year. I don't sell, barter or trade, but I'll never see a mate go without when I have a stash in the cupboard.
..nah mate no way a year when you smoke the shit like I do:DQuote:

Im a hardcore smoker so I find I get immune to one strain so I keep growing all year round so I av different types of bud to smoke, not just the 1 strain all the time.
I have never actually bothered to weighed a harvest. I might do that this year.
Wow i didnt think anyone would do that.I have a mate who sometimes hooks me up but he just buys halves and gives $25 or 50 worth and i just give him the money it subsidise his weed. :)Quote:

Good idea with the fish tank Sarah-louise, I might give that a go one day ... though I'd have to get rid of the fish!!
My grow has been interesting, the fastest growing plant has slowed considerably and showed up some burnt leaf tips which I have almost remedied. The mutant seedling has formed an interesting shape on the trunk, the lowest part is thin and there is a bulbous growth that forms into a thicker trunk leading to the rest of the plant. I'll take some pictures tomorrow if I get the chance. The picture below is from a few weeks ago, you can clearly see the bulb in the trunk. I didn't get a chance to remove the husk and it deformed the plant, the first leaves were very odd and you can see them under the bulb. It has also formed a triangular shape when viewed from above, normally you get opposing leaves and everything is symmetrical but this plant is quite different as you can see in the second picture with a comparison of another plant.
Cheers,
yorry
very heathy lookin babies there yorry good job:thumbsup:
Nice looking plants Yorry. About that lump on the stem, did you accidentally damage the stem? I have a plant with a similar growth which is the result of stem damage when I first tied it down.
I took good care of them when I was re-potting them into their final homes and there wasn't any damage that I noticed but it is possible. The seedling was pretty deformed to begin with, I think it must've got a kick in the pants when I stopped watering and started feeding it!Quote:

It's nice to be able to observe growth closely, but I am still very nervous about being ripped off again. Even with dogs, I may just have pitch a tent and sleep out with girls this Summer.
Eh, my neighbours already think I am a weirdo. Why try and prove them wrong? :D
ken ur plants r lookn healthy :smokin:
ur plants look good too mate how abt you decorate them for xmas and enter in the decorate ur grow thread.:thumbsup:Quote:

This is a good thing and a bad. Good because these plants will generally yield higher. Bad because plants which show this trait usually end up male. Also, sometimes this trait will not carry over into the secondary growth/shoots, which means if you want to keep the trait going then you would have to clone the main trunk by topping the plant.
I've only ever came across one before, an AK47 f2...it ended up a male. :(
Let's hope for a girl and keep those genetics alive. :rasta:
Hey guys hope u are all well and wasted, today I tied down one of my plants to keep it getting to tall .We all have different methods I know but I thought Id show ya my method.I use light plastic lattice which is staked to the ground over the plant .Stake it down as low as you want to go then gently help the tips thru the squares.I have found this method a great way of keeping ur plant low and it also doubles as DEFENSE..you can hang squid jags gaffs and hooks from the lattice just to make it harder for fence jumpers.....check it out guys:jointsmile:
thats the go ken the cunt will have bleed to get them :S1::buzz_saw:
lol ..yes thats it mate ..if anyone tries to steal my weed this year ...LOOKOUT..haha..this isnt the best pic but av a look at the gaff and squid jag on the other side....ouch!!:DQuote:

Yeah as if that matters, I like Bobo's way of handling interlopers :chainsaw:
Australian law is really fuked up sometimes.
I'd really interested to see how they go under the mesh. I have been thinking about something similar, but wasn't sure what to use.
Thats the beautiful thing about it being illegal if anyone fucks with your gear you can go after the cunts.Quote:
