HELL YEAH...and we got the "Beat up Bears" next week. That's if they have enough healthy players left to make a team.Quote:

reb~ thats nonsense. what is wrong with you and the ben haters?
He leaves his pocket a lot and doesnt do well under pressure. Like today, when the cardinals got that second touch down the whole team faltered under pressure ESPECIALLY big ben. Then at the end, when they only had a littl bit of chance of maybe, JUST MYABE scoring again the a-hole goes and throws what? A interception. SURPRISE SURPRISE!
Can anyone say "Tony Romo"?
How 'bout da Boys in Blue!! I haven't seen my husband this football-happy since Jimmy Johnson was here. . . .
thats ridiculous. ben led the steelers to a 15-1 season his first year, a super bowl his second....where you talking shit on him then?
Yes, yes I was hating him then. I think that he's just a huge waste of money. Charlie Batch is a much better player in my book. Plus I don't think Ben has the sense that god gave a goose. Hello? He wrecked on a motorcycle and got all banged up last year. How stupid can one person be?
wrong so wrong, ben didnt just leave the pocket, he was being chased by several guys, and did an amazing job of avoiding the rush and making plays down the field. when we cant run the ball( like 2 day) the whole aspect of the game changes and more pressure is put on ben to make the plays himself and have to throw the ball more that he should have to. It also doesnt help when you get multiple stupid penalty's that put you in 3 and 20yds+, and getting another bone head penalty on and punt forcing a newie which gets returned for a td. when we cant run the ball we cant win the game, it has nothing to do with ben. Also the only reason we even had a chance of getting the tying score was because of ben leading us down the field 96 yards in 2:25...Quote:

jp losman is a shitty quarterback, rex grossman is a shitty qb, big ben is not a shitty qb. every bandwagoner steeler fan i know doesnt talk shit on ben until he loses.
No it doesn't mean you're stupid, but Ben Roethlisberger is stupid because after the accident in which he wasn't wearing a helmet he said he still wouldn't wear a helmet and refused to do a public service announcement regarding motorcycle safety. And he totally stole the rookie of the year award from Michael Clayton. :jointsmile:Quote:

And yes, there were A LOT of flags today.
And yes, Big Ben not wearing a helmet while on his motorcycle is indeed, very stupid. Im actually surprised his contract didn't have anything in it that would effect him for doing dangerous activities as such.
opinions are fine but when they have no factual base they dont make much sense.Quote:

because this year he has two...
Yeah but we've only played 4 games this year (not including the preseason). I mean last year. To me his track history is shady. Hey, he may prove me wrong this year. But I don't have much faith in him.
And no, higher i'm not a philly fan. Ive been a Steelers girl since I was born. I live 20 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. Though John has got me into the Bills lately. Though the Bills aren't that great of a team I enjoy watching them.
He has 8 tds and 3 ints on the season, he had to throw the ball 32 times today( way to many) and parker only had 19 carries for 37 yards 20 of which came on one run. 11 penalties for 72 yards... thats a recipe for a loss. now look back at the last 3 previous games... ben throws less than 25 times, and parker has about 30 carries for 100+ yards, and we have no penalties. Ben was the only reason we were even in the game, he threw a bomb to holmes on a 3rd and 26 for a touchdown, and drove us 96 yards for another score... and this is without a running game. thats and impressive feat, its pretty damn hard to make those throws when the defense knows its coming.Quote:

I don't really give a damn. This is what I believe. He's over rated. I'm not arguing anymore.
its not an arguement... its me showing you the facts, and you saying "whatever I believe what I believe, because I believe it." with zero evidence to back up your claims.Quote:

Just my 2 cents....
Tony Romo is great in the pocket.. he's young, healthy, fast and accurate.. he's tearing it up this year..
i hate to take sides since it's just a game but Ben is a really good QB, sometimes the other team just wants it more.. The Steelers underestimated the cardinals.. the steelers, on paper, own Arizona.. Mike tomlin will DEFINATLY start treating every team with proper preperation. I see the steelers in the playoffs for sure. what these guys mean is that you can't just dog your QB because of one loss. Try losing 7 in a row....the dolphins are a joke but most importantly, Trent Green is washed up..
brett favre and the packers are doing great as well.....
obviously, the colts and pats are up there too.
but it is just the 4th week you all, and the end of the season 1 game means everything. right now, coaches are just starting to make the season gameplan...
it's early...
but the packers, patriots, cowboys, colts and steelers all look great so far.
Looks like the Pats pulled this one off so here's our final four!
AFC
New England Patriots
Indianapolis Colts
NFC
Dallas Cowboys
Green Bay Packers
Who's the next team to go down? The Pats at Dallas in week 6?
Have a good one!
The Patriots seem like they could cruise through '09 without losing a game!
The next team to fall has to be the Colts, seeing as how they are next in line for the Buccaneers :) But that NE-Dallas game will be a barn burner for sure.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO steelers won against Seattle! Next week is their bye week but after that we play Denver. I think the Denver game is going to get reallllll good.
fair weather fan^ and yes the steelers won. like I said, if the steelers run the ball, we win the game. its that simple.
willie parker was simply shut downQuote:

I don't care as long as the Chicago Bears destroy the packers.
It sucks living in a third world country where you can't watch good old American football. I missed all of last season and I'll probably miss this season too.
AFC
New England Patriots
Indianapolis Colts
NFC
Dallas Cowboys
Well, the Pack choked up and the Cowboys caught a break.......down to our final 3.
Have a good one!
what game were you watching?? he had 102 yds on 28 carries, thats far from shut downQuote:

Next thing I hear is yelling--this is all the way at the opposite end of the house--and Dave was bellowing that they'd won. I'm glad. It's nice to be able to still claim undefeated status. But I'm not even a huge football fan and I could see the mistakes the Cowboys made. Any more games like that, and we won't be undefeated for much longer. I hope they shape up before this Sunday.
im talking about the arizona gameQuote:

Not undefeated, but don't sleep on my REDSKINS!
Unfortunately my beloved Packers has to play that team this week. They're looking REAL good.......at this pace, we'll definately see them in the playoffs if not further.Quote:
