Beaks and assholes is a joke, but mechanically separated chicken (basically, all the crap that doesn't look good wrapped in clear plastic) is what mcnuggets and shit are made of- if you eat crappy 'chicken' products, you've eaten some YUMMMMMMMY bits.... :D

My favourite part is the breast, marinated in italian salad dressing and cooked on the old BBQ! But most tender and tastiest bits are what the french call "sot-l'y-laisse", (pronounced "soo-lee-less") literally meaning "twit-leaves-it". They are the small ovalish filets found on the lower back of the chicken, which explains the name! ;)

The past 2 days for lunch I have gotten chicken.. Mon. I ate some Bojangles and then today I went to this awesome back woods BBQ joint and got some hot BBQ chicken with homemade mac and cheese and baked beans. OMG it was delicious.

I would proberly say thigh just, slightly sweeter flavour. I prefer breast for some dishes though. People have a misconseption about breast being dry, if it is cooked well you can see the juice oozing out when you cut it.
Easiest way to cook a breast. Preheat oven to 200 C/ 390 F. Get a breast fillet with the skin on and bone still attached. Heat up a frying pan till its very hot, season chicken with salt and pepper both sides. Pour oil in hot pan and lay the breast skin side down in there. Cook for a minute or so until the skin is nice and golden, turn breast over and repeat. Put the pan straight in the oven if it is suitable or onto a tray. Cook for 10 mins or so until the chicken is just firm but still with a slight spring. Rest and serve.

That's a good way of locking the moisture in. I normally just shove it in the oven with some tinfoil over it, comes out pretty good but i'd imagine not as good as sealing it first. I'll have to try that.
Thigh though, arrghgh, it's got everything i like. Crispy skin, some dark meat and lots of moist tender white meat - yeah, the white meat hasnt got alot of flavour, but it's still nice to eat because it's so tender. It's like the chinese takeaway does by me, the meat just melts in your mouth. Insanely nice to eat. On the bone obviously. I like drumsticks but it's not something i'd buy, just something i'd mooch off people at a BBQ - like last sunday. Damn, the burgers were good too - steak burgers. Wow. Proper meat burgers, not dodgy minced up crap.

By far my favorite part is the breast.Just like at Thanksgiving or whenever I have turkey I go for the breast and that's it.
However I do also love hot & spicy buffalo wings!
Chicken livers if they are battered and mixed and fried with onions and peppers.

Chicken Liver, garlic and mushroom pate is fucking lovely. I normally eat it with anchovy stuffed olives, i can eat them like theres no tomorrow. I supose both the pate and the olives are for slightly older palates though. I remember i never used to like that kinda thing, but now i cant get enough.
