I just popped in to see how things are going, and am very glad to see how well the grow is going. Very good job indeed, and an excellent diary!
I've just got back from a couple of weeks hols and am amazed to see the difference in my own plant now on day 40. It's just a fraction bigger than your smallest plant was at about the same time, so I'll be very interested to see at what date you harvest and how much yield you get from it.

Hey your plants are looking lovely, its a shame you had to pull one cuz of mold. i myself am getting mold on my plant but i'm removeing it becuase i cant harvest early (ive only got one plant and it just wouldnt be worth growing all summer to settle for a short-lived high without any stone) I'd sugest the same to you, if you encounter more mold, battle that fuker, cut it out, dont let it call the shots. These plants are yours, and no damn fungus should interfear with you gettin the best damn dank nature can provide.

Turtle i noticed a small bit of mold on the largest plant yesterday and done what you suggested and cut the contaminated bud only off, i will post an update with pics tonight when i get home from work, best of luck with your grow:thumbsup:
Thanks! I had a great holiday, I only wish I could have taken my plant! I'm sure it would have enjoyed a couple of weeks of mediterranean sun instead of the grey misery it's had to put up with at home.
Yes, I am growing indoors, nothing more sophisticated than a plant pot in the conservatory, so only natural light, and as I'm a bit further north than yourself, not too much of that.
I'm a bit concerned that I'm going to struggle to keep it going without lights as we're down to less than 11 hours of watery light a day. Ahh well I'll be planting for the summer next time.
Here's a couple of pics, let me know what you think.
1st one is at 16 days, the other two taken today, Day 41.
they look really lush and healthy, i can see lots of trichs on that last one, thats a great photo:thumbsup: i know what you mean with the daylight hours and overcast weather it doesn't help us out:( my largest is satisfactory but the small one hasn't bulk as much as i would have liked and i was thinking of getting 4 cfl lights and knock up a small cabinet to help it along for another couple of weeks, but i'm really busy at the mo and haven't had the time to look, i see some in b&q but it didn't say what the lumens were and i didn't want to get them incase they were blue, i'll try and get something sorted at the weekend. anyway heres a couple of pics taken today.

I would like one of those buds, but my tongue would get stuck. Let me know how she smokes please. =)

Allah the smoke of the Lowryder2 is quite a strong head and body high, i didn't think the smoke would be as good as it is, it's not super super strong but it's good enough, and anybody who gives it a go won't be disapointed:D
How's it going weedmaster, any news, updates or pics?
My 'bonsai' LR2 is still pretty comical, but is starting to bulk up a bit now, won't be much, but I never expected it to grow this time of year anyhow, so it's all a bonus.

i'm good flame good to hear your girls are still progressing:thumbsup:, the sun' been out for the last 3 days:D but it's been very cold and damp at night:( it's now day 86 the largest one i had to chop the top branch last week as to much mold kept appearing i did start cutting it out with a stanley blade but in the end i had to cut the whole branch,so it's a bit smaller now but it's just about ready now but i will leave just a little bit longer.the buds that were cut are now dry and today i started to cure and had a little sample smoke, the results were good and when cured will be better i will then do a proper smoke report.
the dwarf still hasn't bulked much but the buds are very compact,because of the cold damp nights i have been putting the dwarf in the shed at night to try and prevent mold getting to this one and at the moment seems to be working. still haven't got round to makeing another box with lights etc but i will definately be building one very soon.heres a couple of pics taken today.

Nice looking nugs wm, lots of crystals.
When you manicure them what do you do with the 'small leaf' trimmings? (are they called 'sugar leaves'?).
I'm just wondering because mine have quite a few trichs on them and it seems a bit of a waste to just cut them off. I had planned on drying them too, and either using them in joints or cooking with them (if I eventually collect enough).
I'd be interested to hear your take on the subject.

hows it going Floyd, your ak grow is looking sweet your lucky you could move your outside ones in with your other grow, i've got to get some lights. the Mrs is cool with me building something permanent in the garden.Hollands hope is meant to go well outside with our climate, was looking at them last year another one that has potential with our climate is Early Pearl, very hardy, mold resistant with a big yield, thc content 17% i think thats right.
Flame hope your girls are doing good.with the small leaves that are caked in trichs i useally smoke them they are so full of trichs i wouldn't want to waste them lol, you don't get as good high as the bud but you definately get a buzz.
Harvest time for the largest today, mold keeps appearing even though i have 3 times cut it out with a stanley blade, i would have liked a few more amber trichs, 95% cloudy 5% amber in the end, would have liked 80/20, but i still have the small one which i put in the shed at night, that has no sighns of mold so i will carry on and hope the buds bulk a bit more on that one.
when dry i will weigh. them last couple of buds were 2gms and i have just smoked a couple of joints verdict this post has taken me at least an hour lol it's good.

I've got a couple of questions I'm hoping you could help me with. I'm trying to judge the best time to 'chop in' my plant, and I think it might not be too far away now.
Can you take a look at the pic, and give your thoughts as to how you think it's doing, also, does the fact that more than half of the pistils are amber mean it's end is near.
I'm guessing it's probably a couple of weeks, but would appreciate your expertise.

hey weed, did you build that box yet?, I read earlier you were worried about color of cfls...when lookin for cfl look for an approx 6000k-6500k for veg or a 2700-3500k for flower, since your growing an autoflower Id mix the 2 and go full spectrum!...great looking plants by the way! have you done any research on the power stout auto flowering?, Ive been wanting to get some seeds but I live in the US and am paranoid as to who I should try, any suggestions?
thanks for dropping by wisco, i haven't started the new box yet' no excuses just been a lazy stoner lol, thanks for the tip, so K represents the lumens? didn't realise that i was just looking for lumens on the box and couldn't understand why most didn't have it but now i know K stands for lumens that will make things alot easier:thumbsup: Power stout is a new one to me i'll do a little research on them. as for you getting seeds i use a U.k supplier everyonedoesit.com, don't know if they ship to the states but i think they probally will, there was a thread a while back in the seeds and strains forum on where to get seeds from, have a look in that forum.
heres a couple of pictures of the dwarf who's doing o.k
10 grams dry was the weight of the last plant, expected a bit more than that but it's 10g more than i had before and it's a nice smoke.
the dwarf has not changed over the last few weeks,very cold nights and short daylight i think is the cause, and a small bit of mold has just appeared so i have chopped before it gets to the whole plant.
