wait so you can just not pay income tax and you wont get arrested or whats up with that.
there is no law that requires you to pay a federal income tax. and if you do file a 1040 technically you are waiving your 5th amendment rights. the 16th amendment was never ratified by congress so there for the law is not in the books. and the supreme court even ruled that the 16th amendment gave the government no new taxing power. which means if you werent taxable before the 16th then you arent taxable after the 16th.Quote:

actually you are more likely to be audited even if you do pay. the irs tends to pick on the poor and innocent. when it comes to arresting non payers they often times go after people who are famous or rich. cause that way they can repossess alot more stuff. and there are many examples of that. like ive said b4 if you just watch that movie you can see several accounts of the irs going after innocent non payers and the non payer won their trials. and then actual interviews from former irs agents who quit the irs because they found out that their agency that they worked for was lying to the american people. so please just watch the movie and dont be so ignorant p4b.Quote:

IRS Collections
Willie Nelson Sings for IRS
By: A.J. Cook
What if you don't have the money to pay your income taxes?
Don't panic. Send what you can and file your return anyway. This will avoid the penalty for filing late. Work out the money details later.
Willie Nelson couldn't pay the Internal Revenue Service and just recently cut a cool deal. His sad song began after he invested in several tax shelters promising $10 in deductions for every $1 invested. Instead of the deductions, he got a tax bill for more than $16 million. The IRS sold his ranch and auctioned his belongings. To keep the agency at bay, he gave it a royalty interest in his album, Who'll Buy My Memories? (The IRS Tapes).
The agency collected $3.6 million from sales of this album and his other assets. At last report, Nelson settled the debt by agreeing to pay only an additional $9 million over the next five years. Not a bad deal for the singer -- $12.6 million for a $16 million debt.
Nelson's settlement probably results from a new IRS policy favoring agreements with taxpayers. With uncollected taxes rising, it expects this policy to boost collections while giving taxpayers a fresh start. But IRS officers are tough negotiators. Don't assume they will settle when they can reasonably get the full amount. They'll expect you to sell that vacant lot and those 10 shares of AT&T.
If you file your return without full payment, the IRS will bill you for taxes and interest and add a late payment penalty, but not a late filing penalty. When you call the telephone number on the bill to explain your situation, the IRS officer will probably ask for a list of your assets and debts. She may insist you borrow the money or start sending in part of your paycheck. If the value of your assets and your earning potential are small compared to the taxes owed, try to settle on a reduced amount or suggest an installment payment plan.
In any case don't try to outsmart the IRS. If you lose credibility, it might seize and sell something you own. You don't want that. The IRS has no obligation to sell the asset for more than the agency's selling costs, e.g., advertising and real estate commissions. Diona S. Ringer received no credit to her tax debt when the government sold her $40,000 home for its costs -- $1,725.
The IRS can seize all of a delinquent taxpayer's assets except furniture, personal effects, professional books, tools and some wages. You might ask, is anything sacred? Not much.
By all accounts Ehsanolla Motaghed, from Omaha, Nebraska, owed the IRS $156,000. The agency heard he died, but before writing the debt off, it wanted to do some checking: Was he really dead? Is that really his corpse in the grave?
Fortunately the government backed down on exhuming the body when his family protested. The estate's attorney criticized the IRS, "They're just mad because he had the audacity to die without settling his account."
The Moral: When the IRS has you dead to rights, you're dead.

Willie Nelson Sings for IRS
Here's a VERY good example on how this law doesn't exist. Somebody with the resources of Willie still ended up loosing out on his property not to mention FORCED to pay a portion of back taxes.
Have a good one!:s4:
thats kinda my point there they like to go after high profile people and people who are poor who dont have the resources to fight back. the irs really has no right to take assets away from an individual but the government has given them the right of imminent domain which basically means they can do w/e they want and dont have to answer to anybody. even the f.b.i. fears the irs. ask an fbi agent about the tax code. they will tell you that its not very specific and there isnt really anything in there saying we have to pay federal income taxes or they will seize or property its just not there
Tell that to Willie...I'm sure it'll make him feel much better. If you want to promote this fine but DON'T be encouraging people in this forum not to pay their shit.....they'll be the ones having to battle it out. AT LEAST make that VERY clear that they are in for the fight of their lives and will probably end up paying in the end.Quote:

im not encouraging anybody im just trying to get the facts out to the public i think most like minded people can make the decisions for themselves.
This interests me, as I'll soon have to start paying taxes it seems. I hate the current corrupt government with a passion. I love America (the country), so I'm not being unpatriotic when I say I hate the government. They are ruining it for others in my opinion, and it's all so corrupt. They are making me HATE living in this country, which is sad for me, because it's such a beautiful country, with politics and humans aside.
I for one AM encouraging EVERYBODY to STOP paying your income taxes. Civil disobedience and revolution are the only ways things ever change.
dont let p4b hear you say that he may just ban you.Quote:

The Federal Income Tax is in DIRECT VIOLATION OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. because it is a direct tax and it is NOT apportioned as the constitution DEMANDS. so i for one will not pay my income taxes until the government gives me an answer. and since they are so reluctant it looks like i wont be paying for awhile. over 40 million americans dont pay federal income taxes and that number increases every year. the only real purpose of the income tax is to redistribute wealth amongst the wealthy. its designed to keep the average american tied down 50hr a week job just to get by. the federal income tax does not pay for ANY government services all those are paid for by legal taxes. federal income taxes are not legal. and i will not pay.

D.Boone, you??re obviously very passionate about this subject. I know there are lots of people in small corners of our country who feel the same way federal taxes and promote these ideas about federal tax being unconstitutional and not having to be paid.
You??ve become like a broken record on this now, however. You profess you??re not trying to influence others, but if that were actually the case, you would long ago have ceased to be so vehement in pressing your point.
Here??s the deal on these boards. People can do what they want with their personal situations and circumstances. You??re certainly free as a bird not to pay your federal taxes. But when we see people like you influencing other members in ways that may get them in trouble, whether they??re providing bad medical advice, bogus legal advice, inaccurate drug testing info, or whatever, we step in to protect our younger, more gullible members.
You don??t want to pay taxes and don??t believe in them? Fine. Don??t do it. I trust you must have the many hundreds of thousands of dollars it??ll take to pay fines and/or mount your defense in federal tax court. But don??t for a moment think we??ll continue to let you ??teach? and promote this information to members here who don??t know better. Talk to a tax attorney at your earliest opportunity and get some legitimate advice. Also get some names and examples of people who??re languishing in federal prisons for not having paid their taxes. You clearly haven??t ever actually dealt with the IRS, but when and if you do, it isn??t going to be pretty.
