your right i wasnt there. there is NO excuse for the cops behaivor. he is a lawman he should keep his cool, especially with even lippy kids. arrest them ok i will give you that. but choke one? toss em down ?
that my friend is unjustified, they are skateboarding kids, not uzi toting thugs.
who is the adult there?that man used excessive force.
and should be terminated. I see less force used on child molestors on the tv show cops!
maybe if the pedophiles rode skate boards they would be mistreated like they should be.
But as aparent of a teen, i can imagine that child as mine, i think i would cap the cop in the head with a skateboard untill his pea sized brain oooozed out his ears!
why didnt the other kids dip out while he was chasing the other kid that ran away... n00bs
The police aren't human beings, they are policemen and have a duty to act measurably in these situations. If he can't handle a bunch of teenagers on skateboards, then he is not fit for the job.Quote:

The choke hold went way above his authority, these were kids, and they had no weapons, and never raised their skateboards as if they were going to use them.. all well shit happens..
That is what can happen when you run... You get tackled/arrested if caught, which you most likely will be.
Right, and this time the cop responsible for it has been busted. We're watching them now too.
Where is the video?Quote:

i saw this youtube video on CNN news earlier today, CNN was attacking the video because it doesn't give the full story, it doesn't show you the part where one of the kids jumps on the back of an officer and starts beating him, CNN was interviewing witnesses and people who were angry with the youtube video
the cop still might be in deep shit for how he acted, i'm not disputing that, but i'm just saying that this video shows what really happened kinda unfairly
if i saw that piece of trash restraining a girl i chill with like that, i think i would have had to have cracked him in his ugly head with a board. scum. this shit pisses me off so badly. why the FUCK do they have the right to do that! i dont like violence, but now im upset and im past the point where i give a crap. that guy need a beat down.
nothing really gets me as angry as (some) police do. i dont know why but when i see crap like that it sends me over the edge.
The cop needed better judgement. He was being a prick to. The kids were acting appropriate to me. Yea this isn't a skateboarding forum but it's ridiculous how skateboarding is treated as a crime here, almost equal to weed around here(which isn't saying much but still).
FOUND THIS TODAY.
HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (July 3) - A police officer who appeared to choke a skateboarder in a video posted online has been cleared of any wrongdoing by an internal review board.
The Hot Springs Police Department Internal Affairs Board found the use of force was within the police department's policy on non-deadly force and recommended "no changes to this policy." The decision was released Monday.
Officer Joey Williams stopped a group of skateboarders June 21 on a downtown city sidewalk. Skateboarding is banned in the area.
The video shows Williams apparently choking one of the skateboarders after forcing him to the ground, then later chasing and wrestling two others while holding them in a headlock.
"This was a minimal force issue," Police Chief Bobby Southard told The Sentinel-Record. "He didn't resort to anything above hand control techniques and handcuffing."
Southard said Williams, who had been put on administrative leave, will return to bike patrol downtown Thursday. Six skateboarders - two adults and four juveniles - have court dates pending.
Back to bike patrol. :wtf:
The Fog :rastasmoke:
Bummer, but it doesnt amaze me that he got let off. They do by law have the right to restrain you if you do not cooperate with them. Not that i am siding with that douchebag cop. But yeah both parties acted wrongly but the they were just kids and the cops a trained adult that should be able to control his anger and such. I mean seriously...I AM SO MAD! DAMN KIDS RIDING SKATEBOARDS DOWN A PUBLIC SIDEWALK!!! I NEED MY DAILY DONUTS!!! haha fucking pigs.
disgusting. im glad pigs arent so power hungry and ignorant where i live, I would have ran and resisted arrest just like these kids, i can see if they were hanging out, skating somewhere making a ruckus and what not but he was just skating down the street.
that pig was probably just having a bad day and when he wanted to exercize his power and make himself feel like a big man he thought some young skaters would be an easy target, and when they ignored him he figured he better not show weakness and went all abusive
Nothing new, skaters get treated like shit by eager cops who have nothing to do.
Bald bitch.
A police officer beat my dick once... Shouldn't have whipped it out really...
