I still only think 3 is a male can u guys show me the male parts on the pics you are talking about??
dont really know how to show you but its fairly easy to see male flowers on atleast 2 of the pics posted under plant 1, if you click on it not sure what type of browser you are using but if it doesnt enlarge the picture when you click on it may be more difficult to see.
Those new pics i think you said its #2, look female, not 100% sure tho, looks like you might have keeper.
Ok, how far apart do males and females need to be to prevent polenization?
Ok, here is the close up of the "balls" of plant 1..... not sure buthtye look like the same thing as on plant 3.... but there arent of these on plant 2.... will take more pix tomorrow of 2... How far should male and female be moved apart....? Thanks.
As fare as they can be. better to destoy them.
and if both 1 and 3 both look like that, there no doubt that its a male plant, kill them burn, be gone evil male plant!
yup that a male also Kill them
I dont want to kill em.... not if I dont have to..... I would like to move the males away fromt he possible female.... how far do I need to move them to prevent fertalization?
they really are not good for anything other than pollinating would just go ahead and remove those 2 if you want you could wait till your other plant shows sex for sure but if its a female you really need to get rid of them by then unless you want seeds. they are wind pollinated and you would have to move them downwind a long ways to prevent pollination as the balls get more developed they will swell and release there pollen it will be like a powder and the wind could carry it quite aways.
Ok, I killed the two males.... and went to Lowes to get fertilizer in the 20-20-20 liquid form I was told to get.... they did not have any.... so I went ahead and bought an 8 gallon pot and some scotts organic soil. I pulled the female from the small pot she was in and used the water hose to wash off the roots and get them so they were loos and not buntched up like they were int he small planter... I transfered her into the larger planter and used the new soil to fill it up.... I also bought a nice Cleome (aka Spider Flower) and planted her int he planter that plants 1 & 2 were in.... nice cammo....
Do I need to get anything special for the female for the roots or is everything of in the way I transplanted her? I will be stopping by the local nursery to get some liquid 20-20-20..... but what if they dont have any either? What should I get to substitute it? They all have pelits, and granuals.... I am under the impression that the reason I was suggested to get the liquid is because I could control the dose given to the plants....
Thanks guys and gals... You have been great through this learning experiance.
Pix tomorrow of the female in her new home......
What kind of food are you going to use?
 everything sounds good with ur transplant bro but a lil confused on what u did to ur roots, i thought it was best never to mess around with bare roots other wise it mite shock the plant and produce schwag, but great grow and lookin forward to some updates
not sure.... was suggested to me here to use 20-20-20 fertilizer.... liquid to mix with my ater I water it with, but no one around here seems to carry it... I havent went to a nursury yet, so hopfully I will find some there.... other wise... no clue... havent fed them anything as yet because I havent been able to find the 20-20-20 I was told to get....
Are there any hydro stores around or a homo depo
Home Depot and Lowes were where I went looking for the 20-20-20.... but neither had any.... the Nurseries were closed today so i will try them tomorrow....
where are the pics u promised today?:smokin: wanting to see sum buds!@@

Ok, here are a few pix I took tonight of the "female"....
The First pic is of the Spider Plant.... Nice huh....
And here are some close ups up the tops....
do you have any hydro stores near you?
no hydro stores that I am aware of.....
What about ordering online?
not an option.... I deal cash only....
So you are just looking for any type of food you don't care what its for? Veg, Flower, Tomatoes, Roses, Weed? My Veg food is 6.2-2.2-5.7 and different for flower.
sacto420 told me that he used milk mixed wit water and his plants grew like a mofo.
this how he said it world work.
just get some milk for now. he said just to get some milk and pour it over the soil then to water it in GOOD.
SO I gave the milk/water to my outdo tomato plant and in just 4 days time it grew a foot taller and the leafs got darker also.
I gave my tomato plant some milk/water mix about 2 weeks ago.
and now ITS a monster grower. and is now over 6 feet tall.
I'll have to admit that I was a little scard to use milk at FIRST.
but after looking at sacto420's outdoor garden that was growing so fast.
I had to try it on my plants. and WOW mine grew like a mofo.
well thats the way I would go about things if I had UR plant.
well whatever u do heres :joint1::bigsmoke::S5::smokebong::greenthumb: :baggy: :weedpoke:to some
Good Luck.
Man why do you have to say stuff like that. You have got to be kidding. Plz people if you don't know what you are talking about, don't give advice you are fucking with people. People come to this site to learn from each other doing that kind of crap is counter productive. I wonder if milk would promote bad bacteria growth and help root rot.Quote:

I went to a local nursery and talked to a guy there, he does not sell any, but told me to go to Home Depot or Lowes and get Peters brand 20-20-20... it is a powder that you add to the water.... I went back to both Lowes and Home Depot and neither had any 20-20-20 what so ever.....
I am getting about 13 hours and 45 minutes or daylight....
Sunrise: 6:55 AM ET
Sunset: 8:39 PM ET
So I guess I am looking for something that will help with teh Nitrogen issues (the leafs going yellow....) and help our overall vegitation.... and when it starts to flower, I would essentially like to use the same food to help with flowering.... Brand dosnt mean squat to me....
Ok, I was able to stop by a nursery this morning and they had 20-20-20 in a small tub.... it is green looking moist stuff.... directions call for 1 tablespoon to 1 gallon of water... I added 1 tablespoon to 2 gallons.... and watered my female and the other plants I have on my patio.... hopefully this will help.
I am thankful to you all for your help, suggestions, and support!
Thanks much
Serp
cool spider plant(cleome), ive got some white ones. watch out for the thorns.lol smells pretty funky too doesnt it?
I love the way they smell.... kind of skunkish.... I didnt know they had thorns... I will watch out for them...
i didnt know they had thorns either untill i grabbed one towards the bottom of it. lol, i got several pokes in the hand because of them. i think they smell good too.
ok plants 1 and 2 look good except for the leaves stop watering them maybe the chances are its been raining wicked so they dont need water until the soils well dryed. so the first 2 plants females. the 3 one def is a male move it far away from your females it cean turn your feamles in 2 males. this is calld pollineting. one male cean pollinate up to a whole garden of females. trust i may be new to this website but have many years of out door grow and dealing with males. good luck other than a few leaves your crops not looking to bad
Thanks, You sure plant 1 was female? Everyone else said it was male..... so i pulled her/him... left only with plant 2....

he said that U water the milk in real good and then the plant should grow real good.
so I gave it a try and IT fucken worked real good.
Ok, I need to snap a few pix... but I am thinking that the roots either arent taking to the transplant... or the fert is killing the plants.... both the female and the spider plant.... I used less than the directed amount of the fert and the plants are drying and shriveling up.... kind of like they are dying....
I will get pix and post of what I am talking about....
Ok, here are a few pix of the female.... what you think?
and here a few pix of the spider.... looks like I might be loosing her.... sux...
