Yes it is very beautiful and we are blessed with sweet sweet outdoor come harvest time. So the soil is most definitely acidic, and is most definitely very mossy. I think if Im going to give you any more information I will have to do some good research, but hopefully UAF will have some good info all ready for me to grab, seeing as how they focus on that sort of thing.

It sounds like maybe I need to take a trip to Vermont. Ive been thinking about just dropping my life now for a while and running to the north with warm clothes on my back and my buck knife. And I guess a magnesium fire starter bar. Ive been wanting to go back to the wolves for many years now, and I hear good things about the wolf populations in the NE.

Chronic is the only weed that has every consistently kicked my ass. My friends are afraid of it, seriously. If i load up a bowl of chronic they politely wave it on. My wife loves it for pain relief and is often still high the next day after only 2 or 3 hits. Crazy shit.:thumbsup:

So many of the strains people have been naming off, I have had that were fuckin' killer! And Fuckin' bogus!
The potency of a particular plant has little to do with thye strain, because if the grower dosent know what he/she is doing, the pot wont be 20%+THC content, and the breeders dont always sell seeds that came from a plant that was grown that well, but rather grown in a more economical set up that yields more pot for less $$, so My only suggestion is to get some good genetics and keep breeding it yourself until you have what you consider to be the best strain. Otherwise it's like pulling a name from a hat.

Funny, I'm abot 15 min from the VT border and thinking of dropping my life to move back to ALASKA lol...
Hint: It's damp in the VT woods... If you're going to rely on a Mg lighter, bring a watertight bag, a good sized one, and keep it full of dry white birch bark, which is pretty much the best thing you can rely upon to start a fire in the damp.

A plant cant produce past its genetics. That is why having good genetics is more important than having better grow skills. You can be the best grower and grow bad genetics but it won't be as potent as the best genetics on a mediocre grower.
here is a list of some rare hyper-potent strains only available through clones:
Cali-o, Matanuska Valley Thunder F***, Champaign, Chemo, and G13.
I had a friend who got his hands on some purple Champaign and he said it was the best weed he ever smoked. That wasn't even the pure form too. I am sure the other strains such as White Rhino and Ice have a lot too. The most potent one that is easy to grow has to be Ak-47 though.

I thought i'd choose this one as my first post....after a nice bowl 2 minutes ago. lol. After October-Novemberish last year, we had G13 (MRNICE) for close to 3 1/2 weeks. That was def. the best shit I've ever had, and although i usually just smoke low end dank, i still have tasted many a high end green. Silver haze and Northern Lights pack a wallop as well.

IF THC was the only consideration, then there would only be ONE strain available, the strongest ... but, that's not how it works ... there are lots of cannabinoids, etc., that combine for benefits ... the BEST pot I have smoked , probably was NOT the highest-THC ...

On my list of most amazing almost narcotic strains is Plan B Black Indica, which isn't going to be winning any THC awards, but OMG does it make you numb. It's the strongest painkiller I've encountered among cannabis strains.

I've been researching, and saw several seed sights advertising similar figures...I'm quite intrigued. Has anyone tried the Ice White Strain ?

I have no idea what the best weed is. Like most people I've only heard of strains that were supposed to be very potent such as g13, northern lights, alaskan thunder, chronic, white rhino, white widow etc. The highest content most people have ever experienced would have to be white widow because of how much it's become available and it's popularity. But as far as I know strains like this are mostly legends, and I can only go from growers who have tried better strains that most of us never get to try out.

I don't really want the highest thc strain anyways. Like people have noted before there's more to it than that. I've also had experience myself with very high thc strains and I've found that they make me paranoid, sweat, and basically have a very ungentle high that I do not enjoy. They also make my tolerance skyrocket through the roof. I think the best weed is balanced in it's cannabanoids and is aged well. It is soft but packs a punch as well, like when your tired and your head hits a soft pillow. It's soft but you feel it reaaal deep y'now.

Mostly what we get around here (Nw) is just a lot of b.c. bud that has very little veriation.

Why is everyone so fixated on having super ultra potent bud? That doesn't necessarily make it good. It can have a devastiting high, but not all of those are exceptional highs. Do you understand what I mean? A lower-potency strain can have a better high than super-potent ultra eleet killah pr0 dr0 y0.

I believe C-99 (Cindy99) and herijuana have the most thc with 27-29%. Unfortunately, these are no longer available (I think herijuana is still available, but only in the form of clones...C-99 is only available as a hybrid as far as I know).

A strain with high THC and availability is Hog (I'm pretty sure it got its name from the relaxing effects that the drug that influenced the name "herijuana" is known for).

white russian is the most potent known strain that has been documented by scientists. anything with a higher thc % is bullshit that a breeder or bank just puled out there ass to sell some seeds.

C99 is not the strongest of all, but it IS extremely potent, spacey and psychedelic ... there are still several breeders still supplying Cinderella 99 seeds ... my personal favorite is 'Joey Weed' ... his have stayed true to the original Bros. Grimm genetics ... Joey Weed Seeds :thumbsup:

The most potent strain in my opinion would have to be Berkley. Not very well known strain, but by far the most potent strain I have EVER smoked or grown. And I used to live in Belgium and i went to the damn all the time. This stuff killed every thing I ever tried over there. From what I know it is a 4 way cross from 4 different afghan indicas. A professor at Berkley University had a afghan hybrid that was VERY strong in every department. He eventually crossed it with another afghan hybrid that was just as incredible, only it had this unforgettable smell and taste that literally would stain your throat with that signature Berk taste!!! I was told this all this by a guy who ran a seed company named Hell Fire Seeds. He claimed to be the guy that had the other afghan that was crossed with the professors afghan from Berkley. I believe him, just not able to back that up as a fact. Any ways, it made its way to TX, and I got my hand on some of the seeds and grew three plants with it. I was young and stupid at the time, and thought nothing of preserving genetics, so I have no clones, seeds, nothing left of it. But let me tell you this, you could smell these three little plants from the parking lot of the apartment they were grown in. It was scary, but GOD was it a blissful smell. I have no way of attesting to the exact THC content, but it was the strongest EVER for me. And had the best taste, best high, best look, and pretty damn good harvest as well!!!! Just out of curiosity, has any one here ever heard of Berkley or Hell Fire Seeds? Tampi, you out there still??? laterz..

that's just NAIVE, to believe advertising claims so readily ... WHO tested it, and under what conditions ? :wtf: ... smoke it first, then decide for yourself ... I can't tell you how much "high-percentage THC" marijuana I've smoked, that was just 'real average' ... :smokin:

It's not JUST the THC in MVTF... that stuff is incredible. The high lasts FOREVER and my peeps who treat chronic pain with cannabis are in LOVE with it as a truly numbing genetic line. The cross I did a while back between The Yeag's Soldotna Thunderfuck and White Rhino is quite possibly the strongest herb I have ever been lucky enough to smoke.

perfect example, there's a LOT more to cannabis than just THC ... users that prefer heavy indicas, for example, may be attributing the CBD effects they are feeling, to THC, usually present in lower quantities ... :smokin:

A man has admitted growing what police described as the strongest
cannabis ever found in the UK.

David Wyler, 55, of Poplar Avenue, Nottingham, admitted producing
cannabis and possessing the drug as well as possessing amphetamines.

Tests on 500 cannabis plants seized at a house in Ilkeston, Derbyshire,

As to all of you who have commented about THC not being the most important thing, I KNOW! But, when asked what the most potent strain is, I'd go by numbers! Trust me, if THC was the biggest concern to me, I'd be growing some Dalat or Thunderfuck, but since I'd rather grow nice chill out weed, I'll stick to the catpiss cross I've got goin. Oh.. btw, if anyone knows where I can get Dalat seeds or a thunderfuck clone, please message me or something ;)
