Papa John's sells both. Anyway, I say experience is the best teacher. I've gotten two separate sets of scratches from driving high, and now my friends tell me i'm the slowest driver, even when sober. I don't speed because I've already gotten caught with weed by being in someone else's car who sped and everyone had weed and we got searched, and then got fucked by the police. Also, spending money on something like speeding tickets, which can be very easily avoided, is not worth it, IMO. I could be spending that money on bud instead. Oh yeah, i also closed the trunk with my keys in there while the car was locked, so now i ALWAYS make sure i have my keys in my pocket whenever i open and close my trunk.

A good ole friend teached me the trick of smoking and flying...and first I thought he was crazy..until I decided I was ready to drive and smoke...
by far one of the top 5 BEST THINGS TO DO WHILE HIGH....driving high is 10x more pleasureable than sober...plus it's really safe.

i burn every morning before i hit the highway to the city for work. i then throw some grateful dead on and away i go. its a great way to start the day off in a good mood and its somethin to look forward to when my alarm goes off at 5 am. i dont find i drive any different, but im a seasoned smoker to say the least.

For me it depends on how high I am and where I am. If I'm totally baked on some really potent bud there's no way I want to drive. It's not so much a matter of whether I can or not, I don't want to. The couch is a much better alternative, if you know what I mean. :stoned:
I also live in the Silicon Valley which has some of the worst traffic in the country combined with crazy, agressive, California drivers. Seriously. I work with people in Portland and when they come down here for business some simply refuse to drive here. It's that bad. Not really where you want to be driving stoned.
That being said, there are a few places where I really enjoy having a nice buzz while driving. Like up on the Northern California Coast, up in the Sierras, or down in the desert. Places with good scenery, not a lot of people, and where you're driving more for the drive than to get from point A to point B.

I drive high sometimes, but never right after I've smoked. I prefer to chill and enjoy my high, but yeah I can drive blazed, I just usually choose not to.

I do love to go on rides, and I think for someone (like me) who smokes pretty much daily and a bunch of times a day, it brings a little excitement into smoking. Maybe not the right way, but I ain't gonna lie. It also prolly helps that I'm not the one driving.

I used to, alone and with friends when I was younger goofing around having fun, causing no harm. Back then, we never ever thought of it getting us in trouble in our town. The police rarely if ever bothered us.
It was a different time tho, in the 80's.
Right now, as an adult, I have way too many responsibilities and obligations to risk getting caught driving and smoking. I just never do it anymore as it wouldn't be worth the trouble it would cause. Not at this stage of my life.
Also, I do have medical issues and my state is finally considering legalization and I'm so very happy because the morphine ect is killing my body and mind. I hate this synthic crap so right now, I'm just a lawbreaker trying to get my medication legalized. Then maybe I'll be a passenger and smoke.:jointsmile: :thumbsup:

but... almost everytime Im driving and realize there is a blunt in the car.... i smoke.
its great.. i put the top down...... turn the music up and blaze.

the other night i was so fucked up behind the wheel. had i been willing to drive another honestly 5-10 minutes just the amount of time to smoke more i could have been smoked up more. but i was so fucked up like i couldnt even will myself to drive well. and i really didnt do much i have no idea why i was like that but the moral is i just went home instead of risking my car over another bowl

Sometimes I drive high, and sometimes I don't. The only times that I do is when I have no choice. I dislike driving stoned, just because to me it feels so dangerous. Anyway, at this time there was a cop following us to see if we were driving drunk (he followed us after he talked to us). Believe me, that was the scariest thing I've ever experienced. But apparently my driving was just fine, considering the cop never pulled us over. But there's nothing that makes one more paranoid than being totally ripped while driving a car, and having a cop following you with the specific intent on seeing how you're driving.
Don't take driving high lightly. It is something that you should take seriously. Anyone that says you are impaired in no way is either lying, smokes schwag, or is giving themselves too much credit. Be safe! Don't let them find more reasons as to why it should stay illegal!

and I agree. I never drive when I'm stoned off my ass. Because it only happends on special occasions or at night before bed. I like to be alert while socializing with society(im high all the time but i mean those REEEAAALY strong highs). and god forbid a cop pulls me over for whatever reason, those "special" highs are hard to shake off.
i've seen roads unwind and frame-skipping visuals but im either in the passenger seats or in the back seat.
If i ever encountered these effects while driving?. i'd pull over right away.
im talkin getting little buzz under the sun with the wind in my hair on the way to the beach with a cooler full of heinekens in the trunk
