bud make you sick?

Today I smoked a splif that my sister rolled yesterday but didn't get to smoke, so she gave it to me. I smoked it and I got really hot and sweaty, like I had a really high fever, but my temp was fine... I think it was the tobacco because I have only gotten sick from bud once when I smoked like 3 grams of some strong indica in a gravity bong with a friend. I took a nap with an ice pack on my back and I woke up 2 hours later fine.

So I can sympathise, not saying it was the bud, but I can understand how it sucks...

I have also been on psychological meds for my tourettes and they come with lots of side effects I don't like. One time when I went to my doctor for a evaluation I asked him quietly "I have noticed that when ever I smoke" *I look around checking for my mom* "marijuana, I have less tics than when I take my meds." His answer really surprised me, he said "Well you didn't hear this from me, but if it works better for you, and you don't mind doing it, then I would use it instead of medication*." I have never taken a Zoloft or Paxil (now Luvox) again :jointsmile:

*= I live in Arizona where our largest county's sherrif was the Head of the Arizona DEA for 10 years... Like it's even remotely tolerated lol...

It isn't how I feel about them, it's just that pretty often when people say "medical marijuana club" they're completely bs'ing. I'm all for med mj, but I don't like it when people lie about it being medical, and many do.
