i woke up, and i am dying
I see my friend, well you can start on all of that soon enough, you know, it's hard to get a job in any other country without a degree anyway, so why don't you spend more time learning about where you want to go, maybe learn that language, and culture, read up on business (land ownership) ideas and continue your path of self education.
Remember i said culture and society are both prisions from which you can not escape. You have to play the rules until you can break a little more free, but until then, use the education are getting to further your own cause.
And i agree, a lot of classes are nothing but fluff, but a lot of life is fluff too, don't let it get you too far down though, or you risk becoming another gear in the machine that you find unrest in. Smile and observe.

Cancer knocked that into me big time, its sad though that it takes something that big for some people to realize how important life is

I live my life to be as fun as can be... If i'm not having fun, i'm not living, so i do sumthing else.. that easy
i woke up, and i am dying
I've already envisioned my death, being annihilated by a great white shark, in a dream once, I just dunno when its gonna happen....
That's an interesting thought though, I'm really baked right now, so I'll probably end up thinking about it until I fall asleep...

i am determined not to become a gear in the machine!
that's a rad metaphor, skrap :rasta:
i definitely am aware of the "fluff" in life, and moved away society's norms
i feel materialism and expectations is what leads to everyone's sorrows
and steer far from both. i hate money, but work and collect it because as you said, you have to play by the rules
to be honest,
i wouldn't be worried, but i feel the machine is advancing way too fast,
and will be farther along than i would like it to be when i leave it.

Agreed about being a gear in the machine. Schools are made to turn you into employees, not so you can learn. Also I don't dwell on death much. When I die, I die. I don't care when it happens, or how. Could happen now, could never happen. It's just better not to think too much about it. It's like thinking about an unanswerable question, it will drive you to insanity...

may i ask if it was a family member or yourself?
onie- do you live by the beach?
jaerl- that's a good mentality. I'm happy that you're having fun the majority of your days.
