Freeze it?
Do not freeze your bud! Nothing works better at turning your bud to dust than storing in a freezer! Freezing causes cells to burst when defrosted and causes any biological material to deteriorate faster than if never frozen in the first place. Instead, store in a Mason (fruit) jar and leave in a cool dark place (assuming the bud was properly cured). I keep the jars in the fridge and it keeps it fresh for over a year.
Note; storing in any kind of plastic is also not recommended. Plastic leaks air, even with the tightest closing lid. Glass is best for longterm storage.
