anyways, seems like no one can come up w/ a downside cept for the hassle of cooking, which is no longer a problem.
i'll just summarize the process here:
1. cut out tinfoil... like.. 3 by 2 inches?
2. get about the amount of weed it usually takes u to get really high (i used .6 g, usually get high as fuck off .5 g smoking)
3. break up the weed well
4. spread it out over like a 1 by 2 inch area of tinfoil
5. fold tinfoil over it to cover everything, and seal it up to create a flat, rectangular tinfoil
6. flatten it out as much as possible; squeeze down on it, whatever, to get the most surface area
7. FINALLY, get ur lighter, hold the tinfoil with pliers or something, and move ur lighter so that u heat up every part of the surface of the tinfoil -- do this for 30 seconds. u will see some vapor, don't worry. if u see too much, then ur burning it. u should only see some wisps.
after ur done, open up the tinfoil and u'll see that the weed is now a slightly darker brown-ish color, but not burnt. it'll smell... "baked". very strong smell, but i guess it can be different for different strains.
u should figure out the particulars (tinfoil size, weed amount) as u try it. but as of yet, this has been my favorite way of getti high. SOOO easy.
my experience:
admittedly, i've only done this twice.
first time, i heard about it from a friend. he just told me to "bake a nug in tinfoil and eat it". somehow, i managed to think up the process above and it WORKED SO FUCKING WELL. i have never been so high in my life... especially off of only .6 g. completely different high from what i usually feel from smokin .5 g (which gets me extremely high as well, but not as much as ingesting) i ate it at 12:30ish at skool. was high by 2:00. was finished by 4:00. and passed out at 6:00 kuz i couldn't get up from my bed. that's probably the only time i have gotten so high that there was NO way i could hide it.
second time,
i thought i was improving the method by baking the weed more, but i realize now that what i thought was "baked" then was actually "burnt". i remember only about 1/4 of the .5 g i used that time was slightly brown (like it should be). everything else was black.
i ingested that anyway, and although it didn't hit that hard at all, i was nice and mellow for about 6 hours. very low high, but it lasted a while.
this method has got to be the best method. ever.

I don't believe it. I'll probably end up trying it if I get an oz, but it seems highly unlikely to work.
^ lol... there are always skeptics... but really. it works. check the other thread under recipes. 2 other ppl have gotten it to work.
and it's only .5 g of weed, not like 3 g as other "experiments" take. y'all should try it out at least once. i guarantee it'll work.
i was a HUGE skeptic at first too tho. but then i thought "y the fuck not" and just decided to try it.... best day of my life.
I'm getting a nice brick of weed (more than an ounce but not sure how much exactly) tonight and I think I'm gonna go ahead and try it.
But I have a quick question, do I put the baked weed in like food or just eat it like that?
^ doesn't matter as long it ends up inside you.
if ur weed isn't top quality, u should use at least 1 g, just to be sure.

There can be some downsides to ingesting weed, but it's all a matter of perspective. Some people don't like eating ganja food because the high can be too strong, it can really cement some people's asses on the couch and put them in a zombie like state. I don't really mind getting zombified from weed, but some people like to retain more function when their high, and don't like the idea of getting too baked.
That's one potential downside, but a pretty weak one at best...:twocents:
I'm not much of a fan of eating weed... I want to know how high I'm getting, not just eat and hope for the best when the time comes. Then again, I've only eaten weed once and the high was pretty intense, though sadly I was asleep and woken up by it when it kicked in... Pretty much woke up and started blacking out... Ahh well...

you can ruin it if not cooked right
takes a while to work
takes a while to wear off
can be more buzzed than you wanted
