lol anywho i have a few new question hopfully i can get some ansers for the lights ive been lookin into getting some t-5s but my worrie is heat, how bad is the heat with the lights......i have 3 fans now PS2 fans....i picked ps2 fans because i feel that they move decent air around while remaing silent as well....
how does that sound to you guys, i am just gona start out with one grow cab intill i get the hang of it...this way i can cut down my lost of money due to mistake....
Hey brah,
CFLs are not a horrible choice. They will not provide as much growing power as a HPS or Metal Halide, however it is possible to achieve a good grow with them. Just keeping a watchful eye on the conditions and adujsting the lights daily.
When it comes to fans and ventilation you may need a little more power than the ps2 fans. They will do fine for intake (fresh air) but when it comes to exausting the old stinky air they will not be able to push enough through the filter. Remember once the air hits the filter it loses its velocity.
Interesting side note.....Im a CODA.

so should i have one fan leading into the exhaust then another fan right befor the carbon filter forcing air threw but not bad?
If you're refering to the ps2 fans, I think you will have more trouble than success "dasiy chaining" your fans. Then again Im no pro with air circulation, if budget is a big issue you may be better off with an inline fan. They can be more noisy but will provide an extra push in your exhaust chain. The best would to be throw down on some of the centriugal fans.

well i dont want to spend more then 30 bucks on a fan for my first time in future i will upgrade....where can i pick up an inline fan a local hardwear store or no?
