looks like it got too hot
I think 1" away from the light is too much for a tiny seedling probally got too hot expecially if there wasnt enuff air movement between her and the bulb. I think you should move the light at least 3 inches away until it gets bigger, if it survives. When there that small its either hit or miss.
thanks guys.....after i posted i watered her last night and dropped her to about 3 inchesbelow lights. i checked her this morning and no change still looked thge same. now i just checked her out and she is worse.....F@#$.....so fellas i got 2 26 watt cfl's in there( goin to be 4-6 all together when im done).. now she is @3-5 inches from lights. i got a comp fan for her blowing directly on her and i watered her again. my sched for checkin on her is when i wake up and go to bed. bout every 12hrs give or take and i am also using tap water instead of distilled to spray her now. could that be it???....anything else i can do or try to make the situation better...im goin to walmart to get a therm/humid....any other ideas??????
I would get a PH pen or a Ph test kit for fish tanks.Ph the water to around 6.3 to 6.8 for your babys.Add nuts when there is 3 nodes, and very lite nuts.Dont water every day,let the soil dry alittle and just mosen the soil. Peace
Roots like to dry out on occassion also. Over watering is the first biggest newbi mistake...plant food the second.
If the seedling is looking as bad as you say , you should just germinate a new seeds I would say germ 6 seeds , keep the best 3 seedlings that way you should end up with at least one female. Also when there that little they only need to be watered every few days put your fonger about an inch or so deep in the soil if it feels dry then water. Lil seedlings dont need much just light and occasianal water basically just check every couple days 2-3 to make sure there soil isnt bone dry , and keep the lights as I said 3-6 inches above them and they should be find. You might want to use jiffy cubes to germ you seeds in since that miracle grow pre-fertilized soil is a lil "hot" for your plants to give there roots a chance to grow. I use pre-fertlized soil for mine but its a diffrent brand Im thinking your organic soil make be a little "hotter' to young seedlings.
thanks for the advice guys but i think she going into the crapper don't know ....i ll give her a couple of days
looks like the ferts in your dirt are killing themQuote:
