Oh man, that is so fuckin true! My parents do not trust me for anything. I dont have a car and they never EVER let me drive. They hide my dexadrine and all their cash from me lol, they took my fucking door off my bedroom!! They also search my room occasionally,read my journals, steal weed from me, it's pretty much as bad as it gets :( . Try as hard as you possibly can to keep your parents from finding out, and even then just tell them you do it on weekends only! :cool: :D

I told my mom like a month ago, I'm seventeen. I thought she would be okay with it, she wasn't. Well, bummer I guess, it didn't change anything.

Im 16 a Junior in High school and have been smokin for 3-4 years. Like a year and a half ago my mom and I got in a heated argument over somthing and she popped the question are you smoking like it had to do with my additude towards things, I told her no mom i dont but i have tried it who hasent, she then followed by telling me my 2 uncles(her 2 brothers) smoke weed, ones in prison for years for possesion (coke or somthing else) and the other one just moved out of his parents house at the age of like 42 because he couldnt find a stable job to support himself and his habbit. I told her i know and wont let that happen I cant it would hurt her to much. I left thinking she would leave it at that, a few days later im sitting with my dad (hes a cop) talking to him and he comes out saying "are you smoking" i said no i have he said if i ever catch you i will kick your ass and throw u in jail, not sure if it was the truth or just a scare tatic.Year or so went by and i guess im getting lazy about covering up my high because the last 2 weeks or so my mom keeps telling me i smell like smoke asking me have i been smoking. I simply say no but i think she knows somthings up. Then my dad popped the question agin, why do you smell like smoke blah blah blah i say no dad i havent started smoking weed agin i hang out with people that smoke and drink its there life i cant controll them he said ok and left it at that. I dunno what there planing but the least of my worries is a drug test the worst would prob be a drug test,me failing bad,and either being arrested by my dad and taken to jail just to scare me , or being sent to rehab or some military school.

If you think your parents are chill about the fact that you smoke weed and you can usally tell then tell them and explain to them that its not a bigg thing just a few times a week with some freinds, just dotn get cuaght up with the police or school and keep our grades up dont let them have any excuses as to why smoking weed is bad for you. good luck

think how theyll react and if u do tell em make sure u mention how they dnt wake up finding you withotu a hangover and how they dnt find u pukin down da toilet and use the common mariujana vs alchohol arugment.

if my dad arrested me becasue he found out i smoked i would never forgive him, never! that must really suck for you day dreamin but you got it under control about coverin it up. my mums cool with me smokin she knows im responsible about it. if your gonna tell your parents youve got to be mature about it and sit them down and tlak to them like your an adult. also print out the faq about weed on this site and talk to them about that and how its not as bad as every1 says it is. i agree with the guy that said use the alcohol vs weed arguement. good luck whatever you decide to do.

My dad caught me at the beginning of senior year, and that was fuckin' it, since I didn't get that good've grades he fuckin' wigged out, like he was sooo ashamed with me. I then got into college granted I have never done well academically in my life. My first semester I study soooo hard and smokin' weed everyday, I pulled off a 4.0 and he shut the fuck up. Bitch, ruined my senior year for me it sucked no parties, grounded, no trust just goin' to work school and home and chillin' with my little bro who is 8 yrs at the time. Point is I know my dad smoked weed because my mom told me,(me and my mom are totally cool about it), she won't tell my dad, get this I have even smoked a j with my mom, well not directly but she was with her friend who's been puffin' for like 30 yrs. and she hit right in front of me, my mom rocks. But anyways my dad is insane and he wigged out, what an idiot, he thinks you can't do great things while smokin' "This Shit," well I proved him wrong, peace to all and keep smokin' just be smart and keep your grades up, its not that hard just a little effort as I found out...

Smoking weed is bound to be against ur parents wishes..especially as ur so young but telling them is something else. Your choice too bring this out in t open with them is a good one, ur parents will think more of u knwing u took it upon urself to bring it up rather than hide it from or lie to them.

As daydreaminfaze said...give them nothing to push the weed being bad point. Keep ur grades up at school, work hard and prove to them that smoking weed isnt necesarilly a bad thing.

If of course things happen to go tits up :rolleyes: ...which is t risk u tk, i suggest you allow time for t dust too settle and discuss it with them further. I suspect if ur parents tell u its not allowed, u will do anyway so instead of hide it or lie, tell them so. Keep it away from them, dont let it bring negativity into ur life and be straight with ur parents. Come to an agreement tht keeps everyone happy.

And remember...u still hv plenty of time to do these things yet, u cant always do what u want when u want and whether u like it or not u r still a child who should respect their parents wishes. At 14 i do not think u should be smoking but all i cn do is offer u t best advice to follow and make ur own decisions, u have a mind of ur own so use it.

lol dude odds are your parents will not take it well. and by that my advice is do not tell them. tell them when your 30 and have a stable life and living on your own ect...doing it now since your young..wont be pretty. lost of trust, they'll be on your ass about everything from HW, tests, they'll hound you for where your going and will phone you constantly. if you think sneaking and hiding it from them is bad wait till you tell them. i would stick to the hush hush.
