my $.03 (the first 2 are free, you owe me 1)
I take daily asthma medication. I have 2 inhalers, 1 for control, the other for attacks. I smoke 1/4 a week. My asthma was so bad as a child I spent nearly every holiday in the hsopital at least one time.
I will go on the record and say marijuana does not affect my asthma one bit. Cigarrette smoke on the other hand will mess with my lungs for a week. I can feel the effects of 1 cigarette for nearly a week. I get semi-annual breath capacity checks and even while smoking a quarter a week I maintain 95% breath capacity. I've been off the charts when I have been in shape and working out regularly.
When I get sick, I get bronchitis nearly every time, but I can still smoke and do, because it actually relaxes my lungs, acts as a natural expectorant, and helps me clear my lungs of excess phlegm. Without it I would probably not get a decent night sleep ever if I were sick.
I play basketball in a Pro-Am league so I am in decent shape, so that's my... Werd!
i'm in gtown, do you go to a private school or a public school?
naw man i go to bartlett.
Start running.
I starting running every day around the same time that I started smoking heavily, and my asthma problems pretty much disappeared.
My asthmas only kicks in when I used to smoke cigs. But marijuana on the other hand doesn't even affect my asthma or breathing at all. Good thing my doctor got me on medical marijuana or else I'll still be smoking and wheezing myself to death on those shitty ass cigs. I'm not trying to offend any tobacco lovers but thats just the fact.
You also said that marijuana doesn't affect you and that the weather over there might be the cause of it. The only way to surely find out is to come to sunny California (where the weather is more stable and nice) roll up a joint and spark that baby up. Then give us answer when you are finish.
yeah i live down in miss. and the weather does fuck with your sinuses.

I have asthma too and had to stop smoking. For me it just wasn't worth feeling like a 90 year old man while playing sports.
I would love to continue using by either eating/vaporizing but making food with weed would stink up my rent's house too much. And vaps are freakin' expensive!
But honestly I think it's different for everyone, you know how you feel after smoking better than anyone.
I had asthma as a kid but I outgrow it, never smoked until about 2 or more years after I outgrow it. I smoke cigs (about 5 cigs a day) and about a joint a day and I've had no sign of my asthma coming back.
I have a light cough, but it's a cough I've had forever.
