So you're saying that growing a purple strain is pointless for anyone who cannot provide an intricately managed environment for it? My friend, I think you're wrong, and I believe that getting a purple phenotype is just luck. Cause sorry friend, I'm not going to put an air conditioner in my closet just so my blueberry plants can be purple...either they're purple or they're not. The color means nothing to me, I just want to grow these plants.

kick back. he's just saying that most people expect the vibrant colors and those colors come with lower temperatures. don't get all butt hurt about it!

I found that to be an unnecessary statement was all.

Here an update is...

Just flower it over night when it gets cold outside leave a window open it'd be pretty easy to acomplish

looks like the leaf twisting is going to start soon. classic trait of blueberry. and btw, most blueberry pheno's will NEVER turn blue or purp. the may keep a dark hue to the leaves, but for the most part have vibrant green and neon orange buds. would you like a pic? as far as providing for environmentals, temps in the 70's is ideal, so why lower them to the point of stress? seems counter productive to me.

k. yeah, hoping for good results from these. planning to LST all three and top them once.

Had some camera troubles and had to take it back to exchange it, but here's an update..two biggest plants are nearly two weeks already...smaller one is just at six days. Starting to pick up their growth some :D
