haha no it just means you have your rep turned off... go to user cp, options, and then theres the option tere...

As for the black squares, it just means your rep is disabled. sundance. made it so every user has the option to turn rep on/off, and I guess when he made the change, some user's rep go to the default, which is disabled.

...Just a guess.. =)
