I just finished selling my 68' Camaro, it was so hard to part with. I just finished upgrading my 325 to a 350, but it was time. I am now shopping for my next car, while I drive this peice of shit 87' Tempo. I am stuck between like 4 cars. . .
-Pontiac G5 GT
-2.4L V4 w/173 HP
-$23,100 (my way)
-Saturn Ion Redline
-2.0L supercharged V4 w/205 HP
-$23,500
-Dodge Avenger R/T
-3.5L V6 w/235 HP
-$27,000
-Dodge Nitro SLT
-3.7L V6 w/210 HP
-$25,600
My plan is to lease one of these cars for two years, then purchase the new 2009 Camero. I plan on buying the top Camero so I need to buy a cheap car now and save for that tab. I am kinda leaning toward the G5, but I hate the fact that it's a V4. Thats why I like the Redline with all it's push. I am big on sound systems and that is why I chose these four. they all come with desent sound setups, except the saturn. That nitro got sounds, I even was thinking the XB for like a day, just because of the trunk space. . .
The new camaro is nice, but I think this is nicer...'08 Dodge ChallengerQuote:

the above post.. well thanks for telling me about that... cuz that car is nice looking.. (i think it was '06, might have been 05' challengers looked like total shit....)
give me pure american muscle.... i'm sure those imports can give you a good run for your money.. but i'd rather have a v-8 to be working with.
my absolute dream (project i want to build it MYSELF, from the ground up) is a 69 camaro ss...
OMG f[r]oggy gettin' road head lolQuote:

Have had many cars and have seen the track many times
Best track was 11.89 @ 121 on with a 1.49 60ft stock SRT10
Just ran a 9.54 @ 141 with a 1.56 60ft on 06 R1 with small arm

yeah im in to cars i street race i currently have 96 civic with a k20a type r
does the job i also have a 91 ranger bagged for when i want to tear the road up
i'm so jealous of you mafyew... SOO jealous... you have no idea...
but yeah, uh ::wiping off the laptop screen::, i do the whole car thing too. but again, fuck imports. there's no replacement for displacement. argue all you want, but plain and simple, it's the truth.
here's mine. 75 silverado, original paint (this color was only offered in 75, rare color) with new clear coat. interior is all original. it's got a crate 383 stroker (using the original block) topped with a holley 670 street avenger carb. rebuilt th350 (which will sometime in the future be swapped for a 5 speed), full msd ignition, hooker headers, dual 2 1/4" flowmaster and plenty of other fun stuff. right now it's on 20" centerlines but once i finish my 2.5/4drop (hopefully within the next few weeks) i'll be saving for some 16" smoothies or baby moons
