What State will Legalize First?
For sure California - Search for Measure K in Santa Cruz California. My birthplace btw lol. Most liberal people in the US. Of course it will never be legal in a state unless feds honor or states say fuck off.
Cali is almost there.
Nevada mmmmm in nevada weed is almost a felony. You can really get in trouble still there. I've lived in Las Vegas for many years and planning on moving back in the next few years, prices in the housing industry are insane in california.
Not sure of the other states so I wont even attempt an opinion but good luck, Utah?? Hell no lol too many conservatives, BUT if they can be fooking more than one wife at a time and they buy into it. Ya just never know. Lets hope.
P.S. Yo can I get into that organization??? I wanna have a few wives too.. =)
And its not legal in hollywood I also do work down there in Silver Lake which is west hollywood. We were pulled over one day and they could smell it, we told the truth and said we weren't high and he asked how much we had and we told him and he let us go and told us "Get rid of that shit". So... Not legal.. only had a half smoked bowl in the car, told him it was old.

too bad alaska is cold as a motherfucker.
Alaska - NORML

from my understanding of alaska, it is not legalized as that would allow you to smoke weed like you would a cigarette. their laws "legalizes" weed in a private residence by making it virtually impossible for police to have "reasonable" cause to search your private residence. smelling and seeing weed does not give cause for police to search a private residence.
better than anything we have in the continental US...

its legal in denver to have an ounce or somethin, but only at a city level (i think). so a city cop cant bust you for possessing, but a state or fed cop can bust you. and its not legal to smoke it at all or sell it. i might be off on a few of the details there, but its somethin like that. it basically means jack shit, BUT it is a step in the right direction.
What State will Legalize First?
lmao if the alaska law was in any proper state than it owuld be wicked lol,
cops right outside your house and you can sit there waving a plant about through your widnow that would get them so mad.
But yeah in us its alike a race of common sense WHICH STATE WILL LEGALISE FIRST!!!??
bookies should open on bets.
oh yeah i would bet for california and i live in the uk.

Ha, I'm glad to be in Cali. . .
But why is everyone saying Nevada, aren't they the one's with the zero tolerance/ first strike law? If they find any on you it's jail time. . .

Yeah, and its almost a felony, but Nevada does allow marijuana for medicinal purposes (if im not mistaken)

Woops, I am mistaken. Upon further review Nevada has decriminlized it and usually jail time is out of the question with pot. The cops don't really care too much unless your under 21 and then I think it is felony.

Well, actually, you are entirely wrong. In elections in November of 2005, Denver citizens, in a city-wide election, legalized personal possession of an ounce or less. However, it was just a city decision, and not a state one.
Because the state is the stricter law, however, it is the one that most police officers, as well as district attorneys and other legal personnel, choose to abide by. Some police officers have decided to follow city law, and have been just warning people that if anyone else had seen them it would be a problem.
Someone said that city cops can't bust you, but this is wrong. They certainly can, because they can choose to use the state law. Most still will bust you, cause they are cops, but some can choose not to.
An adaption of the amendment was on the November 2006 ballot, for the entire state, but it did not pass. :(
