No bong I do care. But you make it out to be worse then it really is. All this money being spent on the war could have better went to protecting our boarders and any point of entry into this country. They will continue to blow each other up as long as we are there, and even after we leave. Do you think that outside interference would have stoped the US civil war much earlier? Or was it the best thing to let it run its course and let people learn from history? I believe our military should only be used IF it's an immediate threat to America. Cuba was building nuke silos next to America with Russia's help. We did not invade them. We simply blocked them from there supply source and they stopped. Iran has no nuke yet and wont for quite awhile from now. Plenty of time for talks. America needs to bite the bullet on this one and drop there "American pride" feelings for just a moment.

could have been putting the money to better use. we are the only country who has nuked someone as an act of war. we have enough nukes to blow up the entire worl many, many times over. i just hate to say it but it is wrong when we do it. if we are going to have seperate countries said countries need to look at for themselves, like it or not bong iraq is worse of since we entered, i am aware saddam is out of power as i am sure you are aware it has since slid into a civil war. but they have held democratic elections so i guess it is ok. and i dont know if you are still arguing for the vietnam war but pretty much everyone in american including those who were for it at the time have admitted it was a huge mistake. same will happen with this one in due time.

Iran is not a dumb country. They know damn well that if they nuke Israel or have any part in it that they too would be seeing a mushroom cloud over there nation. What good is it to wipe out your enemy completely if your not gonna be around for the victory? Iran's threats are just empty words, set on gaining support in an area of the world that has felt suppressed for a long time at the hands of foreign powers.

In China, most of the citizens there know absolutely nothing about what happened in Tiananmen Square due to censorship.

Remember the movie that Jane Fonda did, "Coming Home"? It was about a soldier's wife who dumps him for a Vietnam vet that lost the use of his legs (and presumably his sex organ)and included love scenes between the Fondaâ??s character and her paraplegic ex-soldier boyfriend. With all due respect for wounded vets, the message of this movie was not so much compassion for them as a skewered view of male-female relationships. This movie was very popular with feminists, for obvious reasons.

anyway i just wanted to say i consider myself a rational member of the middle. I have no problem with the "war on terror" i just kinda wish
a. we would do it right and actually declare war on shit before we blow it to hell (like you know follow what the constitution says)
b. we would have invaded another country besides Iraq like maybe we coulda leveled Syria (im all cool with the invasion of Afganistan cause they were an obvious terror breeding ground but Iraq was just headed up by a D-bag... we kinda just made them into one giant terrorist training camp now w/e)

I think maybe Bong is more than just a little upset that the tide is turning. Soon (very soon) the days of Neoconistic warmongers running roughshod over the Constitution for the purpose of stuffing some already fat wallets, will be only a memory and a history lesson. The collective conciousness has moved beyond this type of thinking by realizing the absurdity of it all.

I can thank GW and his cronies for one thing: finally moving the fence-sitters to understanding that when you sign-off on your liberties, this is what you get.
