See that remids me of my Affs, That big leaf right in the middle of your pic looks like the leaf in my avator. And on top of that yours looks taller and less compact like like jaz. Like I was teling you int the strain section, you will know for sure when you flower your ladies. The Afghani have almost no crystal on the fruit (a lot of resin). Afghani also have an annoying large ration of leaves VS buds so donâ??t be afraid to remove some to make sure all your fruits are exposed to the light ! Also, the Afghani will give you a couch lock high â?¦ Believe me, you will be fucked up (my favorite plant to smoke as it taste like hash!!)

The NL is pretty good but does not come close if you are looking for couch lock â?¦. If you desire a more all around buzz, the NL will probably be the one you will pick.

Just from what I know about smoking NL and the little I know about cannabis I thought you had them mixed up before it came up. I figured I had never seen either plant myself so I was probably wrong and shouldn't mention it.

So yeah, for what it's worth I think they're mixed up. I hope you can figure it out before smoking them! :jointsmile:

I think smoking them will set it strait because we get NL all the time and I know the smoke. Actually we are getting a 1/4 of NL tonight I should compare scents tomrrow. Everyone here I talk to says that NL is short bushy and compact. I'll look into it after K goes to bed and do some more research.

Northern Lights is closer genetically than Hash Plant to its Afghani roots but both show strong â??Afghanicaâ?? characteristics.
Northern Lights Seeds
The genetics of Northern Lights is one of the most confused of all existing cannabis seeds strains because there is no one who can take entire credit for its creation. Northern Lights was developed as an indoor cannabisseed strain in the late 1970s near Seattle in Washington, although the genetics involved in the cross were known to have come from California - the original home of a great many of the most famous cannabis seeds strains. It was initially a stabilised cannabis sativa strain crossed with an Afghani indica hybrid.

Northern Lights travelled to Holland as a clone where it was introduced to the commercial cannabis seed market in 1985 by The Seed Bank.

Because it arrived as a clone it could not be inbred for stability and cannabis seed production, therefore Skunk No 1 and Original Haze were used to produce seeds off it so it could be used as a parent plant.

Northern Lights distinctly shows its Afghani indica genetic background; it is a small plant that produces, big highly resinous flowers. Although it was initially developed for indoor growers excellent results have been produced outside.Northern Lights has a sweet resinous taste and produces a physical comfortable but lazy feeling, known to some as â??couch lockâ??.




But even this info and the pics of bud(just looking at the leaves cause I have no bud) is confusing so you know what? I AM JUST GOING TO CALL THEM ALL BAGSEED TILL I'M NOT SO PISSED OFF AND CONFUSED.

I wish some one would put togather a rough guild on the general characteristics of each common strain along with clear definate picof thosestrain pointing out general sure signs.
