PS3 vs. Xbox 360

btw :p i'm getting my ps3 either way, cuz i've been a sony 'fanboy' since the very begining i'm just curious if anyone has changed their mind...

i'm also taking into account for my decision the fact xbox has had a much larger time span to put out games, while ps3 hasn't even had a chance yet... (btw when i say 'games' and systems together, i'm not talking about games that are on multiple systems, i'm talking about games that are ONLY on that sytem, like halo (before it was put on pc) was only on xbox and GTA was only on playstation before pc...)

I got the 360 and am loving it. I have no need for a PS3 or Wii anytime soon.

I could have sworn it was proven 360 actually has better graphical power where as the PS3 has better CPU or "Cell" as they call it. The thing is PS3's "Cell" is actually harder to work with or so I hear. I'm basing this on tests other people have done, so it may not be true.

I chose Wii as it's the console I have come to love at the moment.

The only downside of the Wii is the game selection right now. Too many kiddie games, bar a few, but right now I think they are going for more of an active family fun kind of kick. Games like Wario Ware and Rayman Raving Rabbids and Wii Sports are games that are fun and active that anyone can learn and play. My parents even bought a Wii for themselves and love the sports game. Also, once companies figure out better ways to use that remote to its full potential, its going to be an awesome machine. I can't wait for a real MLB baseball game and more action games.

btw, i hate wii :p i love nintendo... but damnit i just hate the wii... not to mention all the SHITTY games i've seen so far... they're all so.... kiddie? i dunno how to say it.. anyways read my quote...

zelda ocarina of time was a classic, mario 64 a classic... hell nintendo invented the 'classic games' before microsoft or sony even thought of putting out a console, but i'm so dissapointed in this system it's just uncomprehendable to me.... i just see them basing everything off this controller, trying to incorperate it into everything.... the makers/designers thought the controller would be the strength of the system.... but in reality, atleast to me, it's their weakness

which is all good, cuz to me nintendo has always been a 'family system'... but i haven't known too many families anymore that play the same system... everyone in the family has their own if they even play at all lol.... it sounds like i have a problem with wii.. i just think it has it's flaw's as every other single console in existance has had... it's just not for me... and not for alot of people..

and btw i can figure out a perfect way to incorperate football/baseball games, but it would require a footpad, like sony has for the 'dance games'...

the developers said it is using 'crippled' software that makes using the ps3s full potential damn near impossible.

its like having a ferrari in manhatten. theres just no room to open it up. the 360 is like a BMW in kansas. not quite as fast, but it can work with what it has.

I've heard the same complaint with the ps3 cell processor. It reminds me of when the N64 was out. It was super fast and powerful (for the times back then), but it was a bitch for devs to work with. I think that's when nintendo decied to not give a damn about how fast it will process, but how developer friendly it is.

Sony is known to be not so devoloper friendly with its new systems but thats because of its high end tech in its new systems, meaning very complex and new hardware to adapt to. Time is still needed in order for Sony to achieve its full potential with the PS3, I see it becoming the best system by the end of this year. I really cannot wait till Metal Gear Solid 4 and the new Resident Evil comes out, the videos are mad!

It's bad enough the PS3 is utilizing a crippled system architecture and
