Parcells Retires!

well well....seems i called this a long way back....

i cant say i am sad to see him go, though i am disappointed he waited to announce it..i think it would have been more fair to the team if he announced it right away..

there is much talk and speculation about the cowboys wanting cowher..that would be...well..awesome..but this will never happen...

it is hard to coach a team where you dont like your players, no matter how illmannered they are (ie, TO)..it was no secret parcells didnt respect the decision to use romo and keep him there, and that is the most important player you have to connect with, as that is your team leader..the team is very happy with their mates and play well together...now lets find a coach who can add to that and not put up walls...

ditka wasnt a good coach. dont get me wrong i love the man but a retard could have won the superbowl with the team he had. really he should have won more. then look at what he did with the saints, trading all draft picks for ricky williams are you kidding me.

GARRETT???? why on earth would we want a coach coming from miami? that is just...silly.....jones is all about winning, cause he is all about the money, so i am thinking he has a good reason to put this guy on the probable list, and not just that he is old and his mind is slipping...miami..i mean, yeah..i cant digest this right now..i need a minute....or 10...

They had a good thing on our local Dallas news the other night that my husband called me in to watch, which was funny because he's the one who cares about this stuff, not me. Anyway, one of the long-time local sports anchors was doing one of his editorials and pointing our how totally stupid it is for Jones to be putting in a new assistant coach until he gets a head coach, and then he explained how a large part of the problem, beside the fact that Parcells was basically a miserable SOB, was the fact that he was hopelessly bad at directing the assistant coaches, who really do most of the hands-on coaching on a pro team. He was apparently widely hated and disrespected by his coaching staff, and then he had Jones up above second-guessing him anyway. So now Jones is going to step in and fill an assistant coaching position and not let his future new head coach even pick his own assistants? Our sports anchor said it's just another set up for failure when they hire a new head coach. And I suspect he's right.
