So, I watched Matrix, and it is still an awesome film.
It seems that each time I watch it (and I have watched it many many times) that I understand a little more about the hidden messages.
I may write a thesis about it (althought, I expect that it would be only one of thousands that have already been written), because it does have alot to say about how we live and view life.
I just love the movie for what it obviously is - a movie - but, I also have a deeper view to it
I dunno, I guess it is something that has been nagging me for many years. I feel that something isn't quite as it seems, but cannot specify exactly what it is.
I sometimes wish that my phone would ring, and that someone would tell me the same things that Morpheus told Neo.
I have never felt that I belong here.
I look at the world around me, and think to myself - how can people be so blind to what is really going on?
I also wonder - how would I react to being told that the world that i thought was real, was actually not real?
I'd like to think that I would handle it well...
But, if I'm totally honest - I dunno that I would.
Hmmm...there is more to this existence than we know, of that I am certain - but what it is, I could not say.
Maybe, I'm so disgruntled with my life, that I cannot accept that this is it!
Really, my life isn't so bad (except the constant financial struggles - but that isn't unique to me) - I am reasonably well, can do most of the things that I want to, and have a reasonable social standing...but something deep inside me, tells me that there is 'something wrong with the picture'...and I don't know what it is.
blah blah blah...init..lmaooo
I remember watching The Matrix for the first time...it was like a whole lot of questions 'answered'...with a billion more asked
If we ignore the computer generated 'reality' side of things, and concentrate on the underlying suggestion that our lives are moulded for us...would it be so hard to accept?
There are so many methods of 'thought control' in effect now - media, religion, work ethos, etc - that we could easily say that we are 'controlled', can't we?
I mean, I have to say that I am very impressed with the system (I don't like it, but I am impressed), because to 'control' a population without actually making the rules apparent, is a magnificent feat of neural linguistical programming.
Hmm...I'm gonna write a thesis, I think...after all, the great thing about 'conspiracy theory', is that they cannot be disproved - as long as the theory is well thought out.
I think my head is going to explode!
wow it sounds like you DID have a great time!
I only get paid once a month and yes those presents!! lolQuote:

The Matrix is great and I think I might watch it tomorrow cos I'v go fuck all else to do. I still think the first one was my favorite though. :)
£400!!
Geez, I'm gonna be tighter than that, dude!
Gotta try to get everything for less than £100...
Am really broke, this year, so am gonna buy a CD labeling kit, and burn off some quality CDs for my siblings and put them in a nice CD case...should cost me about £10-£15 a head...back to the home-made present scene lol
As always, though, the parents and my kids are goingto be the hardest to figure out :(
Bloody christmas...too much stress for my liking!
Yeah, I reckon that the first Matrix is still the best...they kinda went a bit 'doo-lally' with the subsequent movies...still good, though, but not quite as believable!
