yeah station i do the exact same thing. i dont know why americans pass it. you pack as much as you can clear ( only you could truly now, i could pull a .5 in a long time but my friend has done a bigg zong with a gram of bud and hash).

ya im from the states and a lot of people pass it after taking a small toke.. but like you station and gee i prefer to snap the whole bowl and then pass it. around here we call it taking out someones trash, when they pass you an already sparked bong hit, NASTY!
iv finished off peoples bongs b4. like if they get to fucked off of it and cant pull it i'll pull it for them jus to clear the way for a fresh new bowl. but ya its pure nasty smokin someone elses bowl. a small tokes just dont work for me. i need a bowl packed the the rim to get high. :)

It's more of a social thing when everyone is sharing the herb I think.. Just pass it till it's gone then pack another one. I think it just makes more sense..

i do share the herb. but u smoke your own bowl. that makes more sence. your getting way stoned then u would from takin panzey hits. its still a social thing if you smoke your own and pack 1 for someone else.
