Anyway, sorry for stirring all this up. I was just drunk and pissed when I made the original post...I'm sure that can be understood. But, I do stand by all comments made...I was just trying to sum up what everyone was feeling around here. Even if LT was justified in his response (he wasn't though), what the Chargers did was still wrong just like the Steelers a couple years ago. But...if you're not from NE or the Bean, you probably wouldn't understand. Being labeled the underdog even after you've accomplished everything there is to accomplish...I guess it just stirs up emotions...especially in us crazy motherfuckers.

uh maybe you dont realize, but that is what absolutely every home sports fan always says. nationally new england has been the favorite every time they have been in the superbowl except the last time. in boston im sure everyone says they arent getting enough credit. guess what, it happens everywhere, not just it bean, and another thing, every city in america will also tell you that they have the craziest fans. and if people did make them the underdog it would be because they dont have the same team. that would be like saying well the steelers won four superbowls in the seventies so not making them the favorite every game when theyve accomplished even more than the patriots well shit those crazy motherfuckers in pittsburgh get all stirred up.

I agree...but the Pats are 3 point underdogs next week against the Colts. I think the majority will go with the Colts just for the fact that it 'must be Mannings turn this year'.

The Patriots better play about 5 times better than they did in that slopfest that passed for a playoff game yesterday. Chargers brought their D game and STILL should have won.

The RCA Dome will be jacked out of its mind next week. Manning will exorcize his demons in a BIG way next week. It will be beautiful to see!

I agree. I'd say we brought our D- game. It was still one of the most exciting finishes to a game I've seen..and being from NE, I've had a few heart attacks already with the Pats and Sox. They better play maybe even 6-7 times better to take it.
