soccer, futbol, football, etc. idc is my favorite sport.
David Beckham.... is honestly not very good at all and im not trying to cramp up his style but what does he do on the field... nothing besides take free kicks, he doesnt set up any combinations, no line drives, doesnt dangle defenders.
he basically takes up the place that a better player could be in.

yes apparently he's gonna be makin 5 TIMES more than what the rest of the players get paid PUT TOGETHER, like u said its got more to do with money than football, which is why i don't care for the sport.

I tried to watch football, but i cant. It's a pussy's game. Rugby is where its at. Footballers get paid all that money to kick a ball and pretend to cry when they loose. It's depressing to watch.

Although David Beckham hasn't played for the team I support, he has had me in awe at his abillity.

You need to give your head a wobble if you don't think he is any good at what he does. How do you think he has earned his megabucks deal? Do you think you can play a pinpoint ball to another players head/chest/feet while the ball is either:
A, moving
B, plyers are trying to intercept the ball
C, players trying to hack him down
D, the wind blows a gale

All from 40 + yards or so?

I don't think so. This is why he has been offered megabucks, because he can, and he has done so consistantly for 15 years. As a bonus, he can score freekicks too, as well as the odd goal from the halfway line.


If you still think he is crap, go watch gridiron then.

I like Lacrosse and Rugby. Both great games. With some serious action with the ability to inflict pain.

I think soccer is a sleeper. I might, I am not sure, go to a game if I got free tickets. It is stilla 50 mile drive to L.A.. Naaa, I wouldn't go.

Don't get me wrong, but David Beckham as a person, is simpler than I dont know what.

But as a Football player, in hisprime, no one could touch him. Congrats to him for getting paid shitloads for a final payday, but we won't miss him no more.

If it isn't about Arsenal, then I don't give a fuck. I won't miss that annoying twat Beckham.
