These middle eastern countries that create the contracts for drilling rights usually get at least 90% profit. I don't think these countries are being raped.

Things are not as they appear in the propaganda we are fed daily. The rest of the world sees us very differently. We are not always right, in fact most of the time we are wrong as we are doing the bidding of the plutocratic corporations and Government that is so corrupted by them. If you open both eyes and look at the whole picture, you too could raise your IQ a few points. Just my opinion!

Bush still thinks he can go down in history as the guy who defeated Saddam and won the war in Iraq. Why shouldn't he ignore all the experts, he's been right about everything so far....:o ... hasn't he? LOL.

seems like everyone but Bush has concluded that they have already lost this war, Cheney INCLUDED! Bush is just so easily guided that if you tell him to fire the commanders telling him to get out of iraq, he will. he claims to be taking out the insurgents for good, but the militia that took the life of C. Sheehan's son (and the rival militia) have much more power over Iraqi Citizens than the US does (but hey, the US backed Iraqi Gov't is the one funding them so wtf!)

1. Pass the oil law
2. War Profitters cannot simply pick up and go (their business would get ruined)
3. finish building the permanent bases

if all goes to plan, i believe bush's job is to simply hold the troops in IRAQ until Jan 2009, so maximum money can be extracted w/o the american ppl going bonanazas
