I use scissors when my stuff doesnt come pretty ground up anyway (shitty high school dealers.. but thats another story)
Scissors are a bitch, actualy, but I'd prefer to use them over a grinder anyway coz the grinder removes the kif from the surface of the buds.. Personaly, I'd rather leave my buds the way they are instead of getting kif and weaker buds.
