What is the light spectrum curve absorbed by cannabis
I have one chart on reflectance. The opposite of absorption. I may be of some use.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cannabi...29_cultivation
(itā??s 75% down the article)
Cannabis has a very unique reflectance and because of that police can use high tech cameras to detect cannabisā??s unique reflectance. They use it to find small outdoor grows via helicopters.
This unique reflectance makes me think it has a unique chlorophyll absorption and thats why i wouldn't trust the generalized info. Itā??s just such a unique plant in every aspect

Cannabis aint any different then most flowering plants, so a chart for a plant that flowers will be pretty close. PAR stands for the light range absorbed by plants, for veg you want pretty much an equall amount of all light 400-700nm with more blue, and for flowering you would use more of the higher ranges around 550 and up to 700nm. Dont try and break this down to a science you will not recieve the results you want, An hps will do the job much better in my opinion they have the best spectrum u need to flower with mucho lumens.
does this help at all?

Try google book searching john cervantes, strange to think everyone used to use halogens and quartz lights to grow 25 years ago....
