I downloaded Acoustica Beatcraft. Not a bad program - lots of functions and incredibly simple to use.
rythm (sp?) rascal is a good drum beat loop prgram
no worries dude, ive had hours of fun on both programs, up to the small hours stoned off my nut, mixing up beats and stuff.Quote:

Fruity Loops (FL Studio), Reason, Cubase, Albeton Live, Calkwalk, Sony ACID, etc...
Right now I use FL, just got ACID today.
acid is great for recording live tracks, i used to pump out demos by the truckload. dammit, i should really get back into performing again... this thread is... inspiring.
If you have a newish Mac, you have Garageband on it.
I made all my beats in Garageband. It's very easy to use.
I just got Reason.
It blows Garageband out of the water.
