You have this all wrong. God IS love, but love is NOT god. The same though occured to me awhile back untill my pastor cleared it up.
No, surly there is more to God than just love, but Love is God's Spirit and essence. Such can be said of Christ as well, as he was the substance made manifest in the flesh. "Anointed one" "God with us" "Son of God" "Cristos" "Emanuel" "The chosen one" "One with God"

Yes the word Christ or Christo (meaning annointed one) was a title given to any Messiah, Priest, or King in the time annointed with the Holy Annointing Oil as described in Exodus 30:23 containing cannabis in olive oil (thc is soluble in oil). The word is modern bibles is calamus wich is a poison. The original Arhamaic and second language in wich it was written (Hebrew) both translate the word "kaneh bosm" (in Hebrew, forgot what it was in Arhamaic) as cannabis (this has been confirmed by the Hebrew University in Israel). Other Gnostic documents give further explaination on the oil.:rasta:Quote:

I have actually. The recently discovered Nag Hamadi library contains some facsinating reads. There's a good source of gnostic texts on this site: freeanointing.org /Did you know the three wise men who attended Jesus birth (the magii) were Zoroasters (a gnostic sect) who drank haoma wich is believed to contain cannabis?:rasta:Quote:

Thanks for listing a site; the gnostics have always facinated me. I can't say I agree with all their views, but it is certainly an interesting topic.

God is love. You can't have love in your heart if you don't have his Spirit inside you. Just because people label "good works" love, doesn't make it love. Don't evil people perform acts of love?
"Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things."
According to these words, I'm not a loving person. Love is a person. Love describes a human being. A man. An invisible man. Yes, I believe in the invisible man. Jesus is the image of the invisible God. :pimp:
So i guess that love is a Christian concept, that originated in the middle east, and went west. While everyone in africa, the far east, and the western hemisphere up until about 700 years ago had never experienced love. I guess that atheists, bhuddists, hinuds, are all incapable of love.Quote:
