I am stuck in the middle of the great pacific northwest power outage. It is aweful. I have been without power for 4 days and having to visit friends and relatives for power and internet.

This is global warming for y'all. Many people are like "global warming isn't happening, it has been so cold in _____ this year, obviously the earth isn't heating up." But what people don't understand is that global warming CAUSES climate change. the heat creates more energy in our atmosphere which results in abnormal weather. case in point- the crazy storms bustin out everywhere the last few months.
