i have no idea if this is true, someone was probly lying to me, but they said that in the porn business that you have to start out in gay porn, because not many people wanna do that, then you move on to bigger and better stuff... and like others said, your not always gonna get your choice of the litter and i guarentee there are some ugly pornstars, because to some people they are beautiful, and to some they are ugly..

That's a good point, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Well i certainly hope that someone was lying because there's NO way i'd do gay porn. The way i see it, even fat smelly ron jeremy had to start somewhere but look where he ended up. He's my inspiration.

I doubt it's as simple to get that job as you may think it is, as least for guys. I would guess that there would be a lot of competition because lots of guys think of it as the "perfect" job. I think you also cant cum for a week or 2 before you shoot the movie to make sure that you have a big load. All in all, it sounds like a nice job to dream about but I dont think it would end up being as fun as you may think.

I find that really hard to believe, and I think its just a myth that may have started because they like to tell people who they don't want "Oh yeah you gotta do gay porn first" I mean think about it, I'm sure there are very few guys who would want to get into porn THAT badly, to where they would totally go against their sexuality.

Seriously, how many heterosexual guys would ever do it with a guy just to get with a girl? None...'cause they wouldn't be straight.

I assume the business side of porn is no different to the acting business. At the start you do small time filming's, like local shoots/amateur. After that you get an agent who then gets you contracts, interviews, and shoots etc. You run over the contract with your agent and see if you agree to the terms and what you have to do. You then go for an interview or rehearsal where the director will check you out (naked of course) to see if you suit the part. You then shoot the film. I'm sure it's easier said than done of course but I'm guessing that's the jist of it.

you would have a better chance at making a living if you started your own buisness with websites and videos.
