Well, if it's not that then it has to be a clogged register........within the fins. That don't sound right though because that would stop flow thoughout the system, being a closed loop.

If this room is at the end of the loop it could be where the water temp in the system has cooled to that point........boiler temp o.k.?

I know on my parents boiler system they have seperate zone valves for the bedrooms/bath, living room/kitchen, basement, and they just had one installed for the master bedroom.

Must be a new home your parents have to be zoned like that or they have payed the plumber to fit it as such after it was built...

I fixed the problem in this house... it is not clogged per say but,,, there is no movement of hot water in the pipe and baseboard...
